Returning player, need help

so i recently got into my old account that i had created in 2011, the servers my characters are on are currently closed and ik theres some things i wont be able to grab. all i want is to transfer my main character but when i hit transfer it says theres an error true. im unsure where to go from here as i had put alot of time and patience into that character along with having my greensteel weapon, anyone know what to do here?
