Returning Player - Warforged Dragon Lord Good/Bad?

Hello. So the Dragon Lord attracted me back to DDO and I, in my craziness, decided to do something with it and see if I can make it through the game fully.

That being said what has my interest so far is a Warforged Dragon Lord.

Since I know things have probably changed here and there, I thought I might as well toss out to the community and see if there is any suggestions as far as making this and how best to run it? I will happily go group up with people, but I sadly only have a 1st life character due to the ban of all gamers called life. Hoping to change that this time around.

This is going to come off as rascist but the only reason not to go Warforged i.e. The Master Race, EVER is if you are doing racial or iconic past lives. Even then for racials you can just buy the Wish for Memories for the low low cost of 995 pts and continue your world dominance! So doing 13 non WF pls x3 is less than 30K pts! Anything to not play a HE, Dwarf, PDK, Shifter...yuck! But all kidding aside, to answer your question, yes, it can be good or it can be bad depending on build, playstyle, game knowledge... Doing WF DL on my main atm (Shocker!) and it has been super easy especially after getting Dragons Breath. Will go Bladeforged for final DL life for pally splash goodies and Recon SLA.

Hah. I love it. So, intending to go pure. Where is Dragons Breath? I will warn I'm dead tired on typing this, but do not remember seeing it anywhere in the trees so far.

It's well done. The balance of utility and power makes it a fun and fast leveling experience. Dragon's Roar is just plain good with a nice area of coverage, and i haven't found anything immune so far (reapers included). Tactical DCs are high, and having the use of trip, stunning blow, plus Dragon's Roar just locks down anything. Add in 10 Haste Boosts, Second Wind for healing, and Flight of Kings at level 12 and it's golden.

I also went WF and Two-Handed Fighting for this life. Highly recommend as it has synergy with the Dragon Lord enhancement tree.

For a change, SSG didn't skip on the visual effects. The cool aura is designed well, changes colors based on element, and grows larger as you level. Battlefield Tactician also adds a nice visual effect to all tactical feats. Dragon's Roar looks good, too.

I am just leveling my second WF Dragon Lord life and it is incredible. Very well made class, incredible tactics, over all great. And WF only makes it supreme. More tactics, strikethru, power attack, +15 melee power, +3 saves, weapon attachment, you name it. Leveling 1-20 was a pure guilty pleasure.
