Returning player - Why slayer zones are still so unnecessarily huge?!?

Demonweb perhaps because of the changing links. Underdark isn't bad once you know the paths.
No matter the instance there is a path thru Demonweb now that we have mounts. You just have to know the way. Also, it is only for the first quest. The path/way to the 2nd and 3rd is always the same.

From what I gather you enjoy wilderness areas, and that's a great thing. That the game offers such a variety of options for so many different people is part of what makes it so good.

Your position here seems to be that "it's not that bad", but that's entirely subjective. What some people enjoy others might find miserable. I'm not sure I understand the argument against having portals closer to quests.

The post I responded to stated that "Underdark isn't bad once you know the paths." I was informing them that there is a given path that works every single time to get to the first quest in the Demon Web. If they learn that then there is no reason to jump off the side or keep trying new instances to get to the first quest. The paths to the 2nd quest is always the same and to get o the third is to jump off until you spawn in the right location (but in all fairness I have seen one person jump 78 times before making it).

Widerness zones can be fun if the rares drop named loots. Also good for monster manual counts and just taking a break.

Full groups and using slayer pots will crunch through the XP. Even the longer waits like 5,000 kills or 7,500 kills.

And its way easier than reaper dungeons to cap. Lots of people will chat away while levelling.
