Rogue scrub questions

So I have been playing a character off and on for awhile but since my friends have been getting into the game I really wanted to try to understand the character better. I really wanted to do an elf rogue archer doing sneak attacks with the bow but I am uncertain about something. The sharpshooter line grant sneak attack dice to only crossbows or grant sneak attack bonus to all ranged weapons excluding repeating crossbows. I like to also be able to solo level this character but I am also curious if maybe horizon walker might be better for what I am trying to do. I want to throw a feel points into assassin also for the improved movement speed while stealth and into elf for nothing is hidden so I don't have to stop and search for traps every time I detect something.

Rogue 12 Dark Hunter 6 gets you plenty of sneak attack dice, 3 free ranged feats, and Sniper Shot. 41 Horizon Walker (capstone) 11 Deepwood Stalker (Sniper Shot) 3 Acrobat (Fast Movement) 3 Dark Hunter (Bleed the Weak) gets all the must-have Enhancements, though 8-11 Vistani Knife Fighter (Haste Boost, Deflect Arrows, +5% Doubleshot) is highly recommended.

Last two levels can be paladin 2 for Exalted Shot (can also use KotC Imbue instead), barbarian 2 for +10% run speed and Blood Tribute, or Dragonlord 2 for extra feat and extra action boosts. EDIT: or a monk splash for Fast Hands (+3% Doubleshot), Subtlety, and access to stances; use Master Fire for the critical multiplier bonus.

Not saying this is the best way to build an archer or even that you should be playing an archer instead of, say, Inquisitive. Just that IF you want an archer with lots of sneak attacks, I think this way is better than pure rogue.

The Sharpshooter line does also apply to Bows per Wiki and the Cores get a per 5 meters of Point Blank Shot(PBS) range. If you go into Assassin Tree you can also get Sneak Attack Dice and the Assassinate Tier V for if you have to Stealth at times and insta kill a few mobs. Try to Blind(Glitterdust/Sleet Storm scrolls) mobs also to help with your Sneak Attacks
