rune arm issue

something happened in the last few days where my rune arm will only fire if i am not attacking...is there an in-game setting i may have accidently changed...i had been able to hold my crossbow attack and blast my rune arm , but now i have to stop shooting to fire it...any insight would be appreciated, thank you.

They fire independently of each other. There's no setting in-game that should effect that. Maybe some kind of keyboard/mouse conflict going on? Are you holding mouse left button and pressing alt (or rebound rune arm fire key?)?

i have rune arm set to the 1 on mouse thumb keys, but yes, holding left mouse key and hitting one, will fire if i release left mouse button, but if holding weapon fire, rune arm will not.

That sounds like something going on with your mouse (either hardware or software). As a quick test, if you rebind the runearm fire to your keyboard, does it then work correctly while mouse firing your xbow?

yeah if i move it to keyboard seems to be no issues

also other mouse keys work...guess i just cant have it on the 1 button anymore...thank you for the help!!!

The next step is to figure out what's going on with your mouse. You might try cleaning around the button. Check the 3rd party software if your mouse uses that (like razer mouse stuff) for recent updates. Since it was previously working, it might be as simple as a software issue, or it could be the button/hardware is starting to fail causing your issues.

i cleaned it up yesterday and again today, the strange thing to me, as a computer moron is the button fires fine if i am not holding the left mouse button, and every other key on the thumb pad work while holding the left mouse button...so i just swapped keys, but still doesnt make sense to me...

but i have it working now and i appreciate you taking time to help me out!!!

So other than Rune-arms being hot-garbage after their revamp,they now fail to attack at all ?
