Calling in the Repair Shop is kinda funny :ROFLMAO:

Repair Shops always struck me as odd because you have to remember to carry them around in case you forget to repair your weapon. Its planning for failure, and if you're that mindful then odds are you wont ever need it.

I've always thought that those kind of "emergency need" Store items like repair shrines, rest shrines, spirit cakes, etc. should be held in a special "bank" in the Store as kind of vouchers or credits, and then you could claim them as needed on any character on the account without having to carry around an inventory item.

Who was the new Storemistress? I should @ her lol

edit: also if you're foresightful enough to carry around a Repair Shrine just in case you break your weapon, and give up an inventory slot for it, why not just carry around a backup weapon instead? Its a lot cheaper and not single-use

Ever have construction on a bridge to somewhere and they shut it down and the only other route to use they decide to pave those roads at the same time - you'd think someone would talk to someone and that wouldn't happen. Same thing with sales and bonuses around here it seems. If you wanted to sell more crafting stuff, wouldn't a crafting bonus be the smarter move this weekend? If it is the same person making both choices, then they are just spinning the big wheel of prizes to come up with stuff it seems.

Would have been nice to see a set of good promotions post transfer. Ddo lately has sort of been unplayable due to lag. I know some would argue this is expected due to recent changes, however, there should be something to keep morale high. Something to keep people excited and something to look forward too. Just saying. I think the freebie code could use more creativity, and please no more hair dyes.

Can't you guys make a "Heart of Wood Lite". Lower cost than heart of wood but only allows you to change your cosmetic appearance?

You did! And now I'm here, and I read all of that!

It's an interesting idea. Definitely have been sitting with many inventory thoughts as of late, but sadly I don't know when we're going to get a moment to go focus on that aspect of things. Been quite busy with all of the other happenings surrounding transfers for now.

But, I'll definitely add it to the list of my thoughts and drop a link here so I can come back and reference it. Thanks for the callout!

This is a good thought.
I have stacks of eladrin rest shrine, siberys cakes, repair shops, etc. I can't actually use any of them, because I'm not going to dedicate an entire page of my inventory to 'just in case of lag deaths' or the like.

I want an old lesser heart of wood that doesn't work like a greater heart of wood. My main's feats are borked, but if I use a regular heart it will upgrade him to 32 point.

Can we remove Lesser Hearts of Wood, +1, and +3 from the store. Why do we need so many options? Can't we just streamline the store to have a +5 lesser heart of wood as the only option, and the occasional +20 for a deal.

Why gatekeep changing out 5 levels like that?

It's complexity for complexity's sake... choosing the exact right heart is stupid.

I'm going to throw out a hard NO here, I utilize the +1 hearts. Every time I make an iconic where I've already maxed out the past lives on the class they default to. A pure lesser can be used to change from base class to a different archetype, but when I'm busy getting on my next Favored Soul life, I want it pure-classed, I don't one that trailing 1 level of Bard or Warlock or whatever it might be.

It's cool if you don't like using them, but I do, and unless they put +1 hearts on the token/seed exchange options, I need it in the store and loot tables for eventualities. I've never screwed up a character so badly I needed a +5 heart.
the repair shop should repair weapons, and repair 3-5 Points of Perm damage.
Added emphasis there mine: I'm pretty sure they had an item available at some point that could repair permanent damage. Item Restoration Oil, I believe it was called.

My current main started his adventuring career as a half-orc barbarian, and in that first life got one of my favorite weapons, a (ML4) True Chaos greataxe of Pure Good. Now I'm a completionist, and he's still rocking that same axe all these years later. He's also still got a quarterstaff from that first life, when you could find racially-restricted gear, so his frosty qstaff of pure good comes out at ML 1, thanks to being half-orc only.

Once I was able to repair the permanent damage those things had taken it was like a new light from above shined on him. The only thing they could possibly do to make me even happier would be if they made an item to change it from BtC to BtA, because I don't foresee ever getting rid of those two.

Because getting to know a raids, like Isle of Dread, would involve multiple party wipes.
Being able to repair all your broken stuff could prove handy.
Not that I ever did that. I just sometimes use them.

Would love to see that added btw, I have so much consumables.
Or even cosmetics.

Could we get a inventory for cosmetics like we have for mounts and pets?

I like the idea, but I don't think that's feasible. They'd essentially have to make an extra tab that tallies (potentially) every single wearable/wieldable item in the game, since we can make whatever we want with the mirrors. They can't even make Reaper or event cosmetic effects persist beyond reincarnation at this point for some reason, I'm not going to hold my breath.
(though, once again, I would still pay to get a tertiary bank purely for cosmetics, to get them out of my main storage)
