SO we have to buy the bundle to fix a screw up on your end in order to play the class? WOW

How much is it since you didn't post the price? Bet its probably same cost or somewhere abouts as the xpac.
The bundle price is (currently) the same as the price of chaosmancer alone, so unless someone jumped the gun and already bought the wild mage, this is pretty sweet deal. As much as I like to poke at ssg, this is a fairly generous resolution.

The bundle is discounted to the same price as Chaosmancer was without the bundle. Once the Chaosmancer is back as a standalone purchase, the bundle will increase to its standard price. You can choose to purchase the bundle now and get more for the same price as the standalone now, or you can wait until it is offered as a standalone for the same price.

Thanks Cordovan. I was just asking since wasn't able to see myself, and I know how somethings are priced.. but thanks , I probably will be buying this later

It's 1398 DDO points. So basically get wild mage & regular Eladrin for free alongside the iconic.
Yep. We wanted to make the Chaosmancer available, but the only way to do so is to release the bundle. Rather than wait, we figured it was better to release the bundle near the price of the Chaosmancer itself.

And to speak on the bug that's keeping it back, originally it was due to an item delivery issue, but the item delivery issue was only the tip of the bug. As we kept investigating, the full bug was: "you cannot be a class you aren't marked as having." This is an issue that prior iconics have never fallen into. The bundle and the expansion packs are immune from this because they all hand over the class and the race with the iconic.

When Chaosmancer is handed out from the bundle by itself, the game is happy to temporarily perceive you as an Eladrin, but it cannot perceive you as a Wild Mage. In order to fix this, it actually touches multiple core game systems on an engineering level - trainers and reincarnation, just to name a few. It's not a quick fix, but it is one that's being put together and will need to be heavily tested because of how many places it impacts.

So once that's addressed, then the bundle will return to its normal listed price. Until then, a fix is being prepared.

If you bought it in the last few days, open a ticket to try to refund wildmage and explain why. You might get lucky.
I was joking. 😎
Or, well, maybe half-jokingly. It would be one thing if I bought it a few months ago, but another thing that I bought it 2 days before the bundle... Maybe I should try filling out the ticket for real. 😅

I feel a bit bad for buying Wild Mage before that bundle came out, but I won't hold it against anyone.
Much like I don't feel bad for having all the stuff in the ddofreequests codes.
Sure, I could have saved money if I waited, but I could have also enjoyed all the content for that much longer if I didn't :p

You know, this kind of communication is greatly appreciated. Many times, we end up scratching our heads trying to figure things out. Please keep up this caliber of transparency and honesty. This is a refreshing change of pace, and I couldn't let this post pass by without acknowledging it's significance. Thank you.
