Scroll, Wand and Potion crafting

Introduce a new crafting system that allows for scroll, wand and potion crafting. It would be separate from your Cannith Crafting skill. It would use a different raw resource than Cannith Essences, which would be obtained from deconstructing randomly dropped scrolls and potions.

In this system, you can specify the caster level of the scroll or potion. Higher caster level would require higher crafting skill. Potions require higher crafting level to make compared to scrolls. Similar to Cannith crafting, you could also have two strata of skill to differentiate between Account Bound and Unbound.

For rare or impactful potions like Radiant Forcefield, or rare scrolls like Greater Elemental Weapons, implement a cooldown so you can't spam create them based on your availability of materials. That approach has roots within the D&D PnP rules.

More ways to organize your inventory will always be a thumbs up from me.

Similar to Cannith Crafting, your scroll/potion crafting level would persist through reincarnation.

You forgot about Crafting Wands which would use similar mechanics.

As for production rates; Use the rules. 1000 gp production per day. Can only work on one thing at a time. Can only do a maximum of 1 per day.
Use real world days (or rather the 18 hour timer that DDO uses) rather than in game days. Have to click/activate your crafting each day to accumulate your 1000gp on it.
Costs (base price)/25 XP to be paid for from your character. Can't have people de-levelling so so perhaps we would need to use commendations of valor (1 CoV = 100XP) or the XP stones from your daily dice roll. Perhaps salvaging a scroll/potion/want might produce 1XP per item for this.

Potions: spell level * caster level * 50 (to buy; and 1/2 that to produce). So an 11th level resist energy potion costs: 2 * 11 * 50 = 1100 (to buy) and 550 to produce. It would cost 44Xp, so you could pay for it with a 100XP stone or 1 CoV. A character could therefore produce 1 per real world day.

Wand: spell level * caster level * 750 (to buy; and 1/2 that to produce). So an 11th level resist energy wand costs 2 * 11 * 750 = 16,500 (to buy) and 8250 to produce. It would cost 660 XP and would need 7 CoV's or a 750 or greater XP gem. A character could therefore produce one wand as described per 9 days.

Doesn't seem unreasonable.

Of course you may well have multiple characters doing this on your account, and obviously each one has to take the feat of craft wand, craft scroll or craft potion depending on what they want to produce. As for your character gaining skill in this area, perfectly reasonable idea. Your skill unlocks your max casting level and the level of spell you can put into the item. Perhaps you have to skill each up independently? Perhaps you have to learn the crafting recipes for individual spells which is how SSG introduce them into the game after considering each one - which might be expensive, say 100,000 gp each (or how about 100,000gp * level of spell).

I could see an interface where you choose "wand", drop your spell into in from your character sheet. Select your caster level - which would be up to your level in the relevant class and limited by 20. Each day you hit craft and then item gains 1000 crafting XP until it is completed. Once it is completed you drop in the XP gem or CoV's and the money and then hit the complete button.

It would be awesome to be able to craft my own Holy Aura scrolls. I burned like 600 pieces last life and it is really hard to get. Almost all of them were donated to me from friends.

I'd be perfectly happy if scroll crafting were just bundled into cannith crafting somehow, but with materials that came from harvesting scrolls. Same with potion or wand crafting.

It'd be neat to find a scroll to unlock a spell in your book to scribe it for crafting purposes.

Either way one thing that desperately needs to happen are more storage containers for misc items.

Scroll Cases, Potion Satchels, Wand Boxes, Spell Component Pouches, etc. Anything to let you hold onto more items that would normally end up as vendor trash or more likely just left on chests to rot.

Would also be amazing if you could reduce items to components on the fly without needing a special crafting station to do it.

Give us an ebberon specific wandslinger universal tree please. Isn't the lore very explicit in how low level magic is everywhere and seeing a wander would be like seeing a cowboy with a gun in the wild west ; way more common than weapon users? Make it synergize with caster trees and DCs to allow for a wand duelist build. We already have potion chuckers mise well give us this while expanding on the potion, scrolls, and wand crafting.
