Searing Heights?

Can we possibly get some more adventures in here similar to the cerulean hills? Seems like an awesome area that gets overlooked and i dont know much about its lore aside from the drow i see ... and the terrain is so cool to look at! Maybe the Sulatar drow since they seem to be fire are trying to awaken fire elementals in the pit of the volcano or something?

Im thinking they could be in the later heroic range like 15-20 heroic with a legendary 35-36+ later level range? Would be neato! If anyone knows more of the actual lore with decent suggestions to populate this area let me know!

Anybody?

Well if anything we could get some homebrew dev quests in here for Drow and maybe some pre- menace of the underdark stuff leading up to the Lords of Dust chain ?

I'd love to see some moar high level dungeons in there myself. Heck, I'd like even an epic/ legendary version of the wilderness. The only time I think I visit it is if I'm doing epic bargain bizarre crasher or promise of random puzzle tiles. I have a bad habit of skipping it otherwise. ?

I always liked that area, had fun exploring it back in the old days. Would be nice to get some more stuff in there.

They did just add Promise of Fire fairly recently there, so its not like its been left totally ignored

Seems like a waste of a good setting. I am guess there were plans to do more but something happened and those plans got shelved.
Why else put in a effort to create a wilderness with two quests. I guess you can do slayers.

Explored the area fully one time and did the Promise of Fire quest twice if memory serves. Other that that I run straight to the Bizarre
Would love to see more quests and lore from the area.

It is a neat zone if you do all the explorers. Lot of cool little areas in that back corner you have no other reason to ever go to.

Still, like most explorers not the greatest XP per min. Only worth it for the giggles.

Personally I would relocate searing heights to the twelve as additional [possibly purchasable] legendary level content with maybe 5 dungeons.

Yeah, it's a bit of a shame that they created a whole new wilderness zone and then never populate it with more than 2 quests.

Hopefully someone is working on this.

When running thru the area doing BoB in Epics, I always wish I could disguise as a "legit" BB customer just following the signs unbothered up to the dungeon entrance... one can dream :sneaky:

Aside from Epic Slaying, wilderness lost all the flavor and charm around 10 years ago. Exp is thrash, reward is garbage, lore is weak and do not value the player time in Epics if not running slayer pots... from SSG standpoint is nice cash grab to sell pots, but in reality wilderness are large chunks of lag source to load.

well, its still a place newer players love to trip around and get their feet wet or burnt...it's one 1st places you learn about adventuring in lava.

If they upgraded the rare encounter's treasure...it would lure players back in there

but, why not a few more short adventures...like borderlands size quests, or a few challenges ... or both:)
