I would love to have a Sentient Gem of Inquisitor Gnomon. Or that Scottish Dwarf from the Jewels of Ardor quest chain. :sneaky:

Anyone have other ideas? They did mention future Gems, so let's help them out. :coffee:

I LOVE how the actor voiced Gnomon. He is so happily eeevil! A Gnomon gem would be great! It could be explained that after we killed him in The Lords of Dust his soul was condensed into a gem by his evil overlords as punishment for his failure.

I would like to see some relevance of the gem to the weapon. For example, have a Prince of Frost sentient gem that only works on weapons with some kind of frost/ice effect; in exchange, it gives, say, +1 imbue or .5W, or something like that.

The Forgotten One. Contrary to his interesting name he is just an old man, who is like a very very stereotypical old man.
He'll fall asleep while fighting and wake up, forget what he was saying mid sentence and say "Wait who are you again?" and demand soup when feeding it.
But most importantly he'll be like "Back in my days <small absurd scenario>".

That's nice, same could work for other ghosts, like Marteen Worley (Ghost of a Chance) or Delera. But I guess having a sentience of a spirit, while its still there ruins the continuity.
Having both the children from Death House would be interesting as well. 2 voices in 1 jewel

I've had as much Scottish dwarf as I want from using Whelm (and it was fun for a while).

Yaulthoon: "This is why we can't have nice things"

And ask Keith Baker if he wants to do one.

Far-runner, the wolf quest-giver for Needle in a Fey Stack has some pretty great lines and fun aesthetic choices.

I've pondered what out-of-game voices I'd like on a sentient gem.

Towards the top of my list would be Clint Eastwood - likely a combo of quips from the Dirty Harry days as well as Gran Torino. (A version of the grumpy old man idea above.)

Hehheh. Or Walter. Dunham can't cost TOO much for some VO work, right? :D

Gem of the Codex. Sentient right? And I don't recall hearing it speak before, so could use any voice actor.
Gets really excited in any book/page quest or angry around bosses that have misused it.
