I mean, take a look at things like the Wood Elf sub-race. They “may” release additional sub-races, yet I’m still waiting.

Respectfully, all your posts are this intense. Maybe the problem isn't SSG or DDO but how frustrated its flaws make you. Maybe something needs to change. Exactly. I been around MMOs and games since they began. I seen endless times something not useful being turned into the most sought after item.

For the record despite my earlier "lmao" I do think it's a bit crummy to do this - make it sound like you'll miss out if yoiu don't get it then re-add it at a discount like 3 months later - but at the same time I also think anyone who's bought one of these patron coffers has more money than sense.
Edit: and expect a lot of people NOT to buy the next patron coffer because they'll just wait until you put it on sale later.
Lot of people have said they buy them to support the devs, but SSG isn't doing a lot these days to encourage "Supporting the devs" by spending extra on cosmetics. Your mileage may vary depending on how much spare cash you don't mind throwing at the game.

I've personally only bought one coffer and that was because of the overlap with the "Choose your own discount" coupons and I had the points to spare.
SSG had never said the coffers won't come back just that they have limited runs, this is the second rerun of the mechanized warrior coffer so it's kind of a bit of an odd choice to complain about it being ran a third time now rather than yknow, them running it a second time previously.

naw, in a live stream cordo said they might come back but it wasnt likely just to drive fomo business. its their choice but it reduces my faith in their honesty
