Shadowdale and Thrane Should Be One Server

@Dradle there is not one server, one guild or lack there of that should influence your gaming. IF these are real friends they or you will have toons on those servers where they play.

You're posting about something that won't happen. SSG knows A LOT more than any of us about deomgraphics, trends and hardware capabilities. Your opinion is just that. If you post here on these forums, you can expect rebutals, sometimes those comments are 100% opposite of YOUR view.
You need to chill out. and Not come accross like a child that's not getting thier way (which you are). I have nothing against you, nor do I want I want your opinion of my posts here, but it's fair game on a public forum.

This thread has taken a strange tangent. The implication that wanting 4 servers instead of 3 is preventing SSG staff from getting raises wasn't on my bingo card.

No one is doing that, we understood you heard it on discord, & I'm sure a lot of other places too.

On average the first time a person logs in, they will see a list of names. None of those servers will say "i'm more raider" or "i'm more social" in the title or have any kind of details from the community about that has been stated publicly and loudly. So when they have a sole choice of their starting server, a cooler sounding name might be the only choice they may see. Unless they did a little research, and on average will not, so unless you are spamming general chat with helpful links and information, then the only choice they might have is cooler sounding name. So again I ask you, how does a new player know the rules? Because that reasoning along is what will lead Thrane to doom for having an uncool name.

Have you counted how many posts you've made on your own thread? I doubt it. You seem to think your thread is gospel and would get the devs attention, it will, but not in a good way. You're prob too young to see that though.

Thrane is dead on arrival. Shadowdale is a cooler name, and that is the only reason it will die. Weird reason, I know, but I'm right.

be correct, having dealt with data management before. Yes, SSG has the QA skills of a grenade, and still has pending bugs from U37, but in this
case they're not wrong using an additional server.

They has provided us with a budget for 4 servers, 3 in the US and 1 in the EU. I believe that removing Thrane and keeping 2 US servers and 1 EU server is the best solution. Why remove Thrane? Simply put, Shadowdale has a cooler name, while Thrane just doesn’t have the same appeal. For the sake of our community, it makes sense to let Thrane go. By consolidating to 3 servers instead of 4, I can help reduce fragmentation within the community. One less server means fewer people spread too thin, making it easier for guilds to fill raid groups and creating a more connected experience for everyone. Additionally, the funds saved from removing Thrane should be used to provide raises for the staff who work behind the scenes, including those who clean the restrooms and handle other important tasks. These are the people who help maintain the environment we all enjoy, and it’s only right that they are properly compensated for their efforts. I’m sure the company’s budget is tight, and there’s probably not room for luxuries like 2-ply toilet paper but the staff’s hard work deserves to be rewarded in whatever way we can. I’m asking for your support in this decision. If we focus on consolidating servers and use the savings to support the hardworking staff, we can create a stronger, more unified community.

Im actually shocked, dare I say impressed, how nice everyone is being to the OP (who is probably not even going to be playing on Thrane). Good sign for Thrane and the camaraderie we'll share. To me, this thread was finished somewhere in the middle of the 1st page.
