Should I TR to not loose first-time favor rewards ?

I tr'ed to clear up my bank from the tr cache personally (which with all the new bank space was a breeze for the first time since the very first time)
I believe you !
From 6 toons overwhelmed with BtA gear on my main account to 28 spots now
Non talking about the 100 slots in shared bank , as I had only 30 before :)

Precisely , what I meant is that when you reached directly 1000 favor on moonsea , that triggered the 'standard DP reward' AND the '1st Time Bonus DP' at the same time , using the same terms as DDOWiki .
I get that nobody is having problem with 'standard DP reward' afterwards. (fortunately, even)
yes, i got 125 points (100 first time + 25 regular favor) that first time. I have always gotten the 25 points/100 favor with every toon i played after that.

No problem with regular favor perks, only with the first time in the server perks below of the threshold I got the first time I played in Moonsea.

I deduce that the server stores the information of the highest favor you have obtained, and it considers that you have already obtained all the perks below that stored value even if you don't.

It's a form of programming that makes sense (it requires less data to store only the highest value you've achieved than to store every threshold you've achieved), but of course, in this extraordinary context of massive transfers, SSG people could have given us a warning.

This is precisely what i was wondering. "Is there a form of escalation (edit : ) or independence ?"
If you had reached 900 favor (and not 1000) , would it have locked '1st Time Bonus DP' ?
I'm not quite sure , honestly. It's 50/50. Both algorithms are possible.

If I had reached 900 instead of 1000 favor in Moonsea before doing the TR, I guess I wouldn't have had any trouble getting the perks the first time, since 900 isn't a first-time threshold.

I'd put my hand on the fire that the problem was that it stored that I had already gotten the 1000 perk, and therefore blocked the previous perks. I highly doubt that the thresholds every 100 points are stored, simply when you reach one it triggers the reward, but there's no reason to store that you've reached that threshold.

This is the algorithm that makes the most sense for me too. But we are not one who wrote it :).

This is what I thought that for simplicity there is just one integer variable to store current step instead of whole array storing each state.

I and my friend transfered currently played characters with favor close to 500 and then reached first time on new server, so I guess we both lost first 100 points from steps below.

Interesting thing is that we did not unlock anything yet, but still have access to Veteran Status level 4.
Any info about it?

I have farmed 150 Cannith favor to unlock Artificer (before the free code), so definitely crossed at least one of the 100 favor tresholds.
Just now I have created a new toon and got the 50 DDO Points reward for completing Haverdasher on Elite.
So no, regular 25 per 100 awards do not ruin your once-per-server rewards.
Crossing any once-per-server treshold does though.

You probably already bought it. It was one of the benefits of the Menace of the Underdark bundle.

Thanks for the crystal-clear confirmation .
The dev who designed that had common sense at least , that 's a good sign ..... ^^

I had Veteran Status 4 and 7 on old server from favor unlock.
I did not unlock anything with favor by talking to npc on new server.
I used favor coupon, but Veteran Status was not on the list.
I buy only quest content from expansion packs and skip any additional things.
I still can see both, Veteran Status 4 and 7 in store.
I can create new character with option for level 4, but not 7.

Didnt the favored memories coupon give veteran 4 status?

Afterthought , the one behavior that confirm this is the 'Total Favor' bar (in the 'Patron' tab of the 'Adventure Compendium Panel') not being updated immediately unless the bar is full , so unlocking a once-per-server reward.

Yes but you can check in your store and you will see that veteran I is no longer there available for purchase.
I had Veteran I from before (some expansion), so I wouldn't have noticed it.
One thing I noticed, the people who transferred in the last week of August might have gotten the veteran I.

I used favor coupon before transfering, so I can not say if that affected Veteran Status.
I can say that Veteran Status was not on the list in transaction history when favor coupon was used and I can still see it in the shop for purchase, so I do not own it, but can use it.
I guess that maybe they just added this unlock to code of unpack or somewhere during transfer process.
They already added personal bank slots and character slots (different for server type, +10 for new and +2 for old) without coupons.
