"simon says" puzzles panels not lighting up

hey there, im not sure if this was already mentioned, but i am having a really hard time with the "simon says" puzzles, the ones where you pull a lever, and then repeat the patterns on that 3x3 light-board for 3 rounds.

last week when playing the "disciples of rage" questline, that puzzle gave me serious issues, as some buttons did not light up. you could hear the different tunes in the correct amount, but sometimes only one or two buttons would light up. had to repeat that puzzle a couple of times when finally no lights were skipping the sequence.

this week, i was repeating keep on borderlands on an alt, and the same puzzle in that hobgoblin cave almost broke me. i dont know how many times i failied the second and third round because some buttons never lit up. as i am also slightly hearing impaired, this was not fun at all.
when i was repeating that chain on elite for the final time, the same puzzle took almost 4 minutes to solve because of the same issues!

if this is because of the neverending lag in ddo, maybe those puzzles should only go for one round, or make the sequence a bit slower to not be affected as much by lag as they currently are.

for refrence, my latency in germany is usually around 115ms give or take, often more.

They were also borked for a while. Even when completed, they didn't work. Was supposed to have been fixed in last patch, but who knows?

It's "lag", but not network lag. I assume it's all server processing side "lag" from my experience with my latency/network and those puzzles (and other "lag" issues in DDO).

so is there any workaround? like using a different proxy for example? last week, we had to change our proxy for star trek online from europe to usa because the game decided that lag is inevitable, and resistance is futile. after changing the proxy, the heavy lag went away, but the usual cryptic lag remained.

are there any proxy options for ddo that i could try, if possible?

puzzles are a nice part during questing, but this is really bad right now. the sharn dice-pillar puzzles are at least skippable, and i skip them every time because thanks to lag, jumping on those pillars is already annoying enough. i dont want to have to skip any other puzzles now because of those server issues. stuff like this really makes it hard for me to invest any more money into a service that works barely...
