So my friend is playing a druid and under the ability "Shred" it says Save: 16 Fortitude. What I want to know is why is it red?

Update 66 added color coding to spell saves, so at a glance you can tell what the save type a spell gives without having to actually read words. Fortitude is red. Reflex is green. Will is blue iirc.

Thank you! What an interesting choice. Red kinda makes it more confusing. If it was just 16 Fortitude I would have been fine. Instead I'm trying to help him find out why his ability isn't going to work (which is usually the case with red).

I agree, this is more confusing to the eye, not less. Will save is blue, so is spell point cost, so it is a Will save spell? Still have to read. In my mind I cannot help associating green with good, red with bad, as if the color were a commentary on the likelihood of a save occurring.

Red for fortitude, because body/health, reflex in green because it's about being quick & green is go, will in blue because SP bars are blue & SP comes from mental attributes.
