With the focus that is now being laid on wilderness/landscape zones and the new difficulty settings that will make going through these slower, I think it's time to finally increase the duration of slayer potions.
The slayer quests are designed with these in mind, I don't think the intent is to really kill 7500 enemies in a zone.
XP potions last 3-6 hours, discovery potions were recently increased from 1 hour to 6 hours because it was recognized that 1 hour for farming items in a quest if far too short.
I think 2-3 hours would be a much better duration for the slayer boost potions. Right now they are just not worth the cost for many players.
