So What Happens at 34?

Basically you meet a nice NPC and settle into player housing. Occasionally you teach a class in DDO while raising your minions.
I long ago decided to buy the farm next to Nash Brazca in the C-Hills. However last night I was in Eveningstar at night and it was really pretty. What do adventurers do when they retire?

With the number of places I’ve cleared out over the course of my career, there’s plenty of places to choose from.

I think the language skipping to 32 might confuse some people how the system works even through it true you can go straight to 32 once you hit 30 if you gotten to 32. It would also be true if you was 10 exp short of 32 when you tr that you would only need 10 exp to hit level 32 once you got back to 30. It not really a unlock but rather it perserve your legendary exp progress when you do a ressurection.

No resurrections currently in game causes your legendary exp you earned to change. Nothing going to change with that system when the level cap goes up. Since right now it not possiable to earn more legendary exp then require to hit 32 you therefore will need to earn the exp to get to the new cap. You could earn that exp in one life or over multiple lives. You can rez half way to the next level then get the other half once you hit 30 again.

If you are sitting at 32 with XP accruced will you jump to 34? Will you always jump from 30 upwards when doing a reincarnation?

Thanks in advance. I usually don't pay attention to the changes until they slap me in the face.
My guess is until 40 is cap and a Legendary reincarnation is in place you will have the option to level to whatever the cap is currently until then.

Legendary XP was said will be kept after reaching 30. So you will always go from 30 to your current legendary level immediately after reaching 30. But you will still need to earn Legendary XP from 30+ quests the first time, to go from 32-34. At least until legendary reincarnation is a thing.

I guess that we store the legendary experience for levels 30-34 after an ER or any TR so that we can instantly level to 34 after we reach the last epic level 30.

I expect that in the future we will get legendary past lives and the option for an LR, earliest when the maximum level raises to 36. And of course, after a Legendary Reincarnation (LR) we should lose our legendary experience.

I like that idea, and I would like SSG to allow us to also level instantly from 20 to 30 if we do a TR at level 30 without an ER.

I dont think we will need to wait for level cap 40 to see legendary reincarnations pop up

If i recall correctly when Epic Detinties first came out you could de an Epic Reincarnation at level 25

My guess will be we see Legendary TRs with the next level cap increase (maybe 36)

So when you ETR you have to level from 20 to 30 again but keep your Legendary XP

When you Legendary TR you go from 30 to Cap but keep your Epic XP

Ofcourse you could always do a tripple TR (Legendary > Epic > Heroic) amd start from level 1 again!

my guess is that next year we see Legendary TRs

Doing a triple TR is going to be SOOOO painful. You will do a legendary TR, and then have to level up from 1 to 30. Then you will do an epic TR, and level up from 1 - 20. Then finally do a heroic TR to restart.

I really hope they figure out a way that someone could choose to put in 3 different hearts at once and just give them the 3 past lives to start the next TR run.

Epic TR's started with update 20 in 2013 when the level cap was 28. (It had only been raised to 28 the update before)
The level cap was raised to 30 with update 29 in 2015.

I really like this idea. Do away with the meaningless character creation & re-leveling process when it's not needed.

I've come to a decision! I'll stop...

... tomorrow!

:p

I'm just waiting until I get a round tuit.

They said back when they introduced Legendary levels that they wanted to do this, but it was more difficult than they thought and it would take a lot of time to do. I still hope they do it, but who knows if they will ever be able to take the time for it.
