Ok, I log in, am at world selection, I do not see a character copy. I see transfer. I do not see copy under the drop down menu.
Take transfer. Once you start the transfer process the list of worlds will populate with the normal worlds for transfer and a separate copy to section for lammy and Cormyr.

I did figure out that I can consistently and repeatedly crash my client by stepping into a quest, dropping a DDoor right in front of me and spam clicking it.

You should rerun the test at a time where either European and/or Australian players can participate.
Mainly to test, if the connection latency has an impact on lags.
Yesterday at ~1700EST we had a massive lag session running a Chronoscope raid on Thelanis with a mix of players from Europe and USA.

Their work hours will never align with sane Australian ones, their day starts at 11pm Sydney time. (ok 9pm Western Australia/Perth but I said *sane* Australian... <_<)

Sydney during start of stress test hour when doing some pain point heroics (Reclamation, Newcomers): ~200ms -> ~150ms is instantly felt and no slideshow at red/purple or falling through platforms.

Form up 12-person raids, step into Thunderholme, get on horses and zoom around all levels/areas of the map. If that doesn't lag, that's a good sign, at least from the mob spawning/pathing/AI perspective.
We did this tonight with Tolero, and I think Steelstar. Ran around Thunderholme without killing anything (mostly). At least 10 minutes of purple alert with no noticeable lag.

After the test are complete can we get the score(s)...um, that is, can you tell us how it went?

I wanted to try it out so downloaded a new client and wanted to copy my main character. Well.... it's not on a list. A list shows all characters except the one I play the most. Just to check I went into a regular client and this character does not show there as well. I can log into him on my regular server but transfer is missing it. It makes me worried so what's going on?

A server that is VIP only lacks appeal if it utilizes character transfers rather than character copies considering it is experimental at this point and will remain as such to a degree for the first four or so years. Incentivization would be 1 character duplication once every year.

SSG will never allow toon duplication on any Live Server.

After the preview phase, Cormyr will be launched on Live and it will only allow new character creation, not character copying as at present for this preview timeframe. Character transfers to Cormyr will be disabled during the server and 64-bit launch period.

Whether Cormyr remains VIP-only or not in the longer term remains to be seen, but the future 64-bit servers will be open to all players, and the plan is to enstate "mega-servers" that characters will be able to transfer to from several different servers -- though Severlin seemed to suggest that because some DDO players enjoy playing on the current low population servers Cannith and Wayfinder, one of the future servers will perhaps be intended as a low population one instead of as a mega-server.

Although the general plan is subject to change depending on how things unfold during the Cormyr 64-bit release.

It's in the Launcher.

In the Lamania Client launcher. Then select as target Cormyr and not Lamania, and as source your normal server. You can select any character that's not currently a Guild Leader. It then copies the selected character. May take a few seconds.

It just for the stress test that we have these character copies (as usual with tests these are copies and not transfers). At the end of the test the server is wiped.
Within a few weeks or so Cormyr should open as a special event server (w/o transfers at the start) and normal transfer will likely follow in early 2025, not 4 years from now !

If you wanna test for lag, you should re-boot the ORIGINAL Night Revels, you know, the one that used to lag out the whole server!
LOL, yeah.

Simply all people in same instance, or at least more than 50 or so. Plus multiple level ranges in same instance :)
Way cool!

From DDO EU servers
Increase in latency is very noticeable (170ms vs 100ms - Central Europe) when using projectile weapons like bow or throwing dart.

I used to miss just the first arrow, now it is 2.

Over 2 hours, 17k files downloaded, more than 23k to go. Your stress test failed spectacularly because the installer is pure cancer. I've installed games 5x larger in less than minutes.

I didn't have this experience. What is your bandwidth?
