SSG...... can you please say something about world transfers instead of pretending no ones asking?

When this whole 64bit thing started, seems to me we were told that we would be able to do transfers soon after
Then it got changed to I believe it was Decemeber
and then it fell off the earth
I have seen tons of posts asking about it and have yet to see anyone at SSG give any kind of response..... but I did manage to get a response when I wrote that SSG suffers from Lack of Concern about what the players want and it was laughable at best.
I would like to know how long I must suffer the fools on Thrane, I want my toons off that waste of a server and the sooner the better........ not saying there isn't some good, decent human beings there, but there is not enough to make it a place I can enjoy. They say birds of a feather flock together and Thrane is a complete aviary, whoever said the dodo went extinct... never went to Thrane.
So when SSG, pray tell, will people be able to transfer their toons to other servers? Customers asking nicely only seem to get ignored so maybe its time to kick over the money changers tables and then see if people will notice you are asking them something
End Rant... for today

I think some 64-2-64 transfer were discussed in some of the interviews, either Cordo or a Streamer when interviewing our Producer.

So it was discussed and what I can recall is that some other work needed to be done first.
(Unique ids not being unique across servers and legacy issues coming from old EU servers.)
Once that has been resolved and tools are in place, 64^2 should be opened up.

Tolero addressed it last week on DDO Players stream:

Basically, she says that they want to do it but they want to handle the 32-32 done and help all the people experiencing issues there. They are worried that if they enable 64-64, it might create more issues for 32-32. So it will eventually happen but is not something that will be imminent.

And what about the pain we went through after the transfers? As a VIP i continued (and still continue) to pay yet I was pretty much unable to play for around two months. And yet it's just crickets, haven't heard a word about it in a long time. I'm not suggesting we get a bunch of stuff for free, although I've heard tales that Lord of the Rings Online subscribers DID get compensation for their pain, but how about pushing our subscriptions back for the time it was unplayable?

The "we're working on it" excuse has been worn pretty thin at this point. We're quickly approaching the one year mark from the start of the 64-bit transfers.

And SSG STILL hasn't managed to help all the customers that had transfer problems? After 9 months?... It would seem that fixing those issues really isn't much of a priority for SSG, wouldn't it?

SSG implied that the 64-to-64 bit transfers would happen somewhat soonish after the 32-64 bit transfers ended. Most reasonable people expectations of "soon" are likely 3-6 months, not 9+ or even greater than a year.

but it didn't and they have made it clear since the transfer issues occurred they would not be working on that until the transfer issues were resolved.

Hey? I play on Thrane... lol. (Laugh emoji) /s

I just wanted to say that SSG is the only "service" I patronize that has terrible customer service. It is truly awful.
I do not tolerate it from other businesses and would surely leave except the core game of DDO has me hooked. I would add that incompetence is part of it, but they really do not understand how to provide, or even care what people think of them.
I put them right up there with AT&T, Wachovia (aka Truist), Comcast, GFL, and USPS. All of which I will do without rather than use them. It's as if customer attrition is an acceptable part of doing business for them.

Good luck on your Transfer. It will probably happen a month after you take a break from the game.

Can you imagine any of the SSG people buying a new car, having an issue and being ok with the dealership that sold it to them giving them excuses about it, ignored their complaints about their car not working right... we both know that would be totally unacceptable.

grass touch it you should.

I'm not saying you don't have a point but is this game really worth getting this worked up about?

I run 2 VIP accounts and a Premium for myself and my 2 sons. Until this mess is sorted out i am cancelling my paid accounts and will not be investing in further expansions. Likely I will start experimenting with other games. Depending on how long it takes DDO to figure out how to deliver on their promises I may well have reached a point of no return with this game so I will say my farewells now with a faint hope i might be back. All the best everyone.

Even better - I missed the transfer window, so now I can't use some of my characters because I don't have access to the Artificer class. The ironic part is that one of the locked characters very likely has the Cannith favor needed to unlock it...
