The advantage of playing a (much) tankier version (5-7k hp) would be that you could grab aggro and keep people from getting one shot for questing. Not sure if that's something you're interested in, though you definitely have the past lives to do it without sacrificing much.

Dom's toxic and insulting behavior in this thread will not be tolerated, and the insults and fighting by Prysala, Indyanna, I dont Like gimps and Jummby are also completely unacceptable. Several of you are now taking a time out on the forums, and if your in-game dispute is ever brought up on the forums again your bans will be permanent. I've been trying to curb this awful behavior privately for a while now and it clearly isn't working, so you are now on public notice about your in-game dispute being brought to the forums. I think your build could be improved in a few areas. If I understand correctly, your goal is a balanced Druid that can heal, deal damage, and survive R10 content?

I've ran a solid Fire Druid build in the past and thought you might find it helpful. I soloed most quests on r8 and even tackled some R10s with it.

Shifter is better than Aasimar for overall Wisdom, considering the raging bonus.

Thanks for the feedback and your take on the druid (gave me a lot to think about since I missed that the medium armor from Flameclensed Fury was leather and not metal).

I haven't looked at shifter in a while but I don't like raging so have been ignoring shifter for a while. I should look at it again.

Going with the 'can cast while raging' shifter setup is nice. And you can get some nice extra temp HP from Blood Feast filigrees.

Blood feast, while it does require a swap, is huge in high end reaper as it allows you to refresh 1,200 HP in reaper 10 at no penalty.

And as Sardonic pointed out, the rage also gives you 4 more points of WIS.

Unless you're going full out DPS druid (in which case you're going dragonborn and adding /3 sorc), shifter is the strongest race atm for druid.

Have you considered taking two levels cleric water domain? You could just focus on cold spell power should be able to get it over 1000 easily.
