There is something off about Drossheart and Igan
I've dropped my game time and the lag demotivated me from wanting to raid.

On the plus side, I'm starting learn how to read binary files. So having fun and frustration doing that.

log in, play 2-3 quests then lags creeping in. after 4-5 quests lags is becoming unbearable and game is unplayable from that point.

Light'em up!
MD's rare loot burned me out pretty heavily. The lag is just icing in the cake of me needing a break from the game having turned into feeling like a job. Going after the lantern event mount gave me a slight distraction from the day to day grind; but now that I have it, I've mostly log in to grab dice rolls, maybe run a quest, and then log off for the day (on my normal server). At this point, even if MD rare loot was redone, I'd still have the fatigue from it and better drop rates wouldn't reverse that feeling; hopefully spending more time on other games/hobbies will refresh me for when new content comes out in DDO.
what rare loot! :) I think I have seen 1 Golden Age weapon and 1 ring drop since the pack dropped!

Went back and dusted off my old EQ2 account. Subbed for one month, so I'm gonna play that out. See how it goes after that, whether I go back to DDO or not. (Plenty of things I don't like about EQ2 that DDO does better, but at least EQ2 is playable.)

i'm playing more than I have for a long time, but I have just had my gallbladder removed so I'm not allowed to lift anything for 6 weeks and I'm off work as a result. I live in the UK so I'm not playing at peak US times but I'm find very little lag on Cormyr but a little difficulty in changing direction on the hoof. I'm assuming this is due to the increased distance of the server as I've never encountered this type of lag with DDO before.

I've been playing more. Not only my main on Khyber, but alts on Argonnessen, Thelanis, Sarlona and Wayfinder and haven't been bothered by lag at all.

I started toning down my playtime ages ago.
The recent issues didn't change that.

I'm probably playing about the same. Almost all on Cormyr.

Work has been a bear lately and I have less time to play.

played a lot until very recently. Lag got too much, burnt out of trying to get loot to drop. Would usually TR, but don't want to farm the loot I want for a new build. Logging in for a few minutes per day the last week.

I am playing a little less than usual mainly due to the lag at times. I am still running racials so I really dont care about Myth drop rates. I run the expansion once and done each life, if I get a decent drop that I might use, I keep it. NOT going to farm all that, its totally ridiculous to do so IMHO.

i log in at least once per week on both games. usually to redeem the new storecode (my bank loves those items for both games).
yesterday i had the urge to play lotro a bit and continiue completing some zone deeds, as i had a free evening. my latency was at ~500ms.
i tried. i really did. i finished one quest, and then logged off to change proxy, same result. used my tethered mobile connection instead of my landline to see if its the usual german village t-offline issues, same result.

wasted half the evening on that. managed to finish 3/4 quests required for a wrapper quest and simply quit. its not even funny anymore.

I'm playing a little less right now, mostly because of the lag.

However, I did cut my play time to zero for a few weeks after the absolute absurdity of the MD loot drop rates became apparent. I eventually returned after I decided I could just pretend that MD loot did not exist (meaning there is little reason to worry about re-gearing and I can just pursue other game goals).

I think what's keeping me about the same is I started rotating Argonessan and Cormyr. I get bored doing one and switch to the other. Also have second alts cooking on both servers. I think more than anything I feel the burnout of dragging people through dungeons. I want new players to have a good time and stick around, so I don't mind keeping them up and trudging forward. What has made me notice the most, though, is on Cormyr. That toon is first life with no good gear and I'm still carrying. I've kinda just started telling people to "Google it" or "read the wiki."

Not only do I hardly play anymore I've cancelled my subscription. I've been playing and paying since 2009. When they get it together I'll be back but I'm not optimistic. Anyway, I've got 3-4 months left on my subscription then adios amigo. For a while at least and no, you cannot have my stuffs lol.
