I'd like to see new effects, similar to Arcane Warrior, which support hybryd builds more
E.g.:
  • proc on kills +1-3 spell dc (which consumed if using any offensive spells)
  • More item for WF/BF to support repair amp, insightful and quality repair amp, same for reconstruction. Not only on bracers and boots pls. ML 28 artificer necklace came out a decade ago with MotU
  • Dont remember the last time when an autorepair item came out for WF/BF (maybe feywild adamantine bracers or the sharn ring ???)
  • When creating a set, pls dont forget to add docent variant for armor. Remodelling Renegade set still missing a docent
  • In general more WF/BF love

Double augment gloves. I was doing a clean up of my inventory which includes crafting blanks, getting rid of most single augment items. For gloves I only had one that was a double augment.

They drops all time, no further than yesterday i loot another again. Bad curse, unfortunately, so just put it to AH. 8)

WF/BF love needs to start with making a "medium" body feat, and making them all "purple" racial feats that you select one of at character creation. (Also not capping Mithril Body at 5 MDB when level 33 light armors have MDB 20)

You could have the body feats level with the characters and have the MDB scale at levels 4,10,16,22,28,34,40 to match current armor stats.

I think body type should be a free feat you can choose at level 1, similar to shifters who can choose Beasthide/Wildhunt for different passive bonuses and unlocks in their racial enhancement tree.
If you don't like it or prefer another one in epics etc. - it can still be changed like any feat at Fred

If Sun and Moon is the future, please stay consistent, develop it and gradually update old loot to be compatible with it.
We need less, not more systems that divert time and investment from gameplay.

What Effects Are Hard To Find On Quest Loot?​


It's a double edged sword kind of question... I always find that gloves [hand items] are hugely under-represented in the DEX, Double Shot, Double Strike and Rogue skill flavours at end game. A special mention to RL and the almost useless Legendary Blurfingered Gloves, which even if I wanted to get the set bonus, the actual hand item is TRASH. TRASH! Not very good at all for a level 29 item.

Most effects are hard to find on named [quest] loot that never, or extremely rarely, drops. I know SSG get money from players getting frustrated by farming but can it be dull, dull, dull, dull, dull, with a fat serving of ANNOYANCE which ultimately reduces my enjoyment of the game.

What I don't like is the way Minor Artefacts are limited in number of filigree slots based upon their level... sur Epic VoM, an ML20 item, is fine with only one, but limiting ML29 Minor Artefacts to 3 slots, ML30 to 4 and now even 5 slots a couple of levels above is VERY ANNOYING. It effectively limits the use of certain expansion sets for end game and pushes players to waste huge chunks of their lives gambling their money and time away for a chance at the drop of a rare pearl. Grrrr.

An easy solution to a win-win farming approach for more serious players? VIP provides perma +10% named item drop rates.

I find insightful and quality spell power items hard to find. Not potency but individual ones as in insightful and quality corrosion - but goes for all spellpowers

Less crafting systems for the win. I like to play a game not finish a day at work and then spend game time working at something even less rewarding.

It may have been said already but I can't read through all this today. With the Sun/Moon augment system here to stay, I think you need to add Sun/Moon augment slots to rings. It can feel like quite the loss when you have set bonuses with 4 or 5 effects and you give those up for 3, especially stat boosts. You go from a +3 to all stats to 4 in one specific stat. Gear tetris can be hard enough without limiting which items you can get set equivalent bonuses on.

It is nice to see that many suggestions here were incorporated.

One big challenge now is how to make gear that is neither in a set nor in the sun/moon system relevant. Gloves, for example, without a moon slot are simply behind similar ones with one, e.g. Hands of Wastes vs the Home of Memory stone gloves—same item (different MLs sure) but one is vastly superior.

A crafting system which will strip set bonuses (if any) and add the appropriate sun/moon slot would basically breathe a lot of life into old gear
 
greatest loot joy i ever felt in this game was when I raw dawg looted a +5 Cosmic hvy repeating xbow of obscenity back when those effects first dropped. ML25 I think. I traded it away but I've always regretted it. I don't think I've ever seen another one since

you should bring that kind of joy back

An item that gave more Manyshot charges and increased their regeneration rate.

Archers need to be buffed. They do not have any special action boost like all other ranged classes

Actually ManyShot should be on just a CD without charges. and scattershot should also have a different independent CD and hell even with bows would still need more buffs ( I would add a critical extension in a legendary feat)

Every time this comes up, someone else mentions the value of being able to dump all of your many shot charges in rapid succession. It really would be better if they could just figure out how to have the recharge timer continue running whenever you aren't at full charges, but timers are a special weakness of DDO. Heck, just build up a bunch of Archer's Focus against a training dummy and watch them tick down. You get the first 3-second timer, then 0:00 (1 second) for each stack afterwards.

I would love to have a way to slot spell power (and insightful spell power) on something other than weapons/scepters/orbs/shields. For example on rings. Super limiting currently and makes you sacrifice DPS on, say, an EK by giving up that 9d6 ruby that also can only go in your weapon slots.
you mean augments? because there are plenty of items that have spellpower that arent weapons.

also, put a deconstructor and a feareater on your EK weapon. a non scaling ruby seems useless tbh
