SteelStar Asks: (U69.3) What Effects Are Hard To Find On Quest Loot?

In my personal experience, nothing drops at 33%

Math wise, I should get one named item roughly every three eligible chests.

I get maybe one in six.

Then I'll get a string of three in a row.

Then I'll be back to one in six for another month, maybe two.

I know it's not likely, but it'd be cool to have more weapons with extended crit and/or multiplier. There's a select handful of weapons with them, and they are the main weapons that a lot of people use.
That would be a great augment. So many weapons suddenly become useful

is that confirmed anywhere?
I mean... not by SSG. They also haven't confirmed 33%, for what that's worth. That's based on a years old post describing drop rates in the majority of content at the time.
I've looked at a couple tests with multiple hundred chest pulls, and one showed a 24% drop rate, and the other was a 25% drop rate. So I think you're looking at that ballpark.

I recently played an EK, and honestly, I've been missing specific filigrees for gishes. We need at least two sets that provide universal spell DCs and melee/ranged power. If I took Otto and Beholder, it was a massive loss of dps. If I took DPS filigrees, my spell DC plummeted and I was ineffective.

In the end, I had to roll with two sentient weapons, but it's unnecessarily complex and expensive when weapon tactics are so easy to obtain. It's amazing how a 5-level DL splash for dragonroar is much more effective than struggling to try to achieve a decent spell DC.

So, please, filigrees designed for hybrids. Like Otto and Beholder, but less spell power and such, and more melee power and Doublestrike (and Ranged Power and Doubleshot for the ranged).

More "Sun Sword" type Bastard Sword/Short Swords.

Sun Sword - Min lvl 6
Star of the Day - Min lvl 20
Celestia - Min Lvl 23
Echo of the Sun Sword - Min lvl 28...oh wait that's right, this doesn't have the "Sun Sword" ability. Silly me 🤪😒

If there is not a path to add Colorless/Colored augments to Legendary Greensteel items, then create a crafting gear(with players putting their stats like Isle of Dread) with getting Legendary Greensteel HP%/Dodge%/Spell Point% and Ender's Set bonus, etc.

There are some well-known bugged rare filigrees that pretty much do not drop; eg. shattered device rares.

For items: True Sight, Freedom of Motion, Aligment Absorb, lately insightful everything. BUT, the problem isn't what's missing on regular named items. It's "what's missing on set items" or what else is on the item. For instance, True Sight is only available on one MD item: flourishing fauna bracelets, which have 3 other utterly worthless lines to 99% of the physical builds in game.

True Seeing is available from L1 on CC items. FOM from around L10 on nameds. They need to be augments (suggest L4 & L8) to let us use items that are useful to our builds and let you easily design unique items that we can either pick or not for reasons other than mandatory stat lines.

Vulkoor's Bite: Vulkoor calls to you, and death answers. Attacks and offensive spells have a chance to deal 1d3 Negative levels.

Bane of the Depths: Your Negative, Poison and Cold spells automatically apply the effects of Bane to enemies struck.

Vulnerability Guard: This item stores powerful erosive forces. When the wearer is missed in combat, this power occasionally releases a degrading blast, adding three stacks of vulnerability to all enemies nearby.

Royalty's Frigid Response: The Prince of Frost sends his regards... Your attacks and offensive spells have a chance to freeze an enemy in a block of ice.

The bottom one is only on raid items and thus does not meet your ask, however these would make for awesome minor artifact stats, put all four on a ring please? :D

All four item effects exist in game currently!

Yeah, and my major beef with this is that these are not even recognized as favored weapons for helm!
