How bout Battle Axe with some crit love (x4) or a Maul (1d10) and/or Quarterstaff(1d6) with extra dies (2d10) and (4d4) to make niche builds. Change the meta for a season or 2

Quarterstaff could give some monk some buffs depending on stance or how many lvls on monk

Maul could give some bonus while beeing held by a cleric or fvs or pally.

I believe a Myth Drannor raid has to have Elven Chain Mail as part of the loot. Some guards at MD and a quest giver (Verzan Nuovis) are even using a set themselves.

I really miss the days when there were many quarterstaff with different profiles, weapon dice and to-hit ma damage stats...

This would be a list of things I'd like to see in order of importance.
  • Add a Mythic boosting system for all items that is deterministic with appropriate resources such as threads or collectibles. The Mythic boosting system would not need new affixes the existing ones would be sufficient. Existing affixes should be preserved.
  • Consider using one primary stat to theme items with a maximum of +15 for non-weapons and shields. The rest of the item could be composed of assorted augment slots and sun/moon slots. Maybe throw in a small affix for these that could be worked towards similar to how Sharn items have a small number of items you can work towards.
  • Add +6 insightful stat augments to the raid loot table.
  • Add +3 quality stat augments to the raid loot table.
  • For these augments you could also have a way to craft them with threads / remnants.
  • The raid weapons should be more of the finesse variety with 1 or 2 extra secondary stats for hit/damage such as dexterity/int/charisma.
  • Generation 3 raid filigree?
Agree in principle to most of this but I think we should just make insightful +6 available. Maybe DDO store and Randal. Same really for quality +3. Almost think we could have +7 and +4. If you want to tie it to the raid think best way is giving a material that can then be exchanged for the augments. Otherwise there’s going to be 12 extra stuff in the loot table that just clogs it. If you also have an upgrade process like FOM and the material is the same you avoid the issue with FOM where if you don’t use weapons you may not end up using any of the materials.

I would like to see a bow with a higher critical profile, in both multiplier and crit chance, but with a really high penalty to attack speed.
It could be the fantasy of a really high damage sniper, or an effect than only happens when long range, so you have to change bows in the mobs get too close.

Fun idea, for a mostly meme weapon
Get a weapon with a random criti multiplier. between 0.5 to lets say 5 base. it could be fun to be like 5% 0.5X, 15% 1X, 30% 2x, 30% 3x, 15% 4x and 5% 5x
hahaha the lols I could have with that weapon....

Only on a 20, and any high level character should have plenty fort bypass already. The keen fort bypass on a 20 is not really useful.
That was true until latest content - mobs in lvl 35+ quests are getting a fort bump I dont see many builds with 150 fort bypass without debuffs

I'd love to see a good panoply of expanded crit weapons for heroic to fill out slots that don't have "good as khopesh" weapons from 13 to 20ish.

They did bump up enemy fort in MD content, I think they have like an extra 30-50% fortification, there's also the matter of the AC inflation meaning you're less likely to confirm crits.
