Not sure how this would work exactly but how about a weapon that has the effects of some of the defensive abilities in the game, on hit gain PRR or MRR or Saves or AC etc. Or in general just some weapon(s) that are more defensive in nature. Also i still want to be able to dual wield shields someone figure it out.

How about a little something for my favorite flavor build that can use all the help It can get the monk ninja short sword dual wielder. A shortsword that
Adds alacrity that stacks with Wind Stance.
Removes Poison Immunity because…
Poison Blast 7
Extra Legendary Paralysis DC 110
Salt… because poison slows u down!
Expand the crit range by one because shortswords stink as does pierce bypass (don’t use keen make it special)
Hidden effect…. If you have the Poison Blades or Sting of the Ninja active, u get 5 more Imbue Dice.

Quarterstaff of the Warlock Eldrich Blaster.
Adds 5 Eldrich Blast dice
Adds 5 Pact dice
Force and Light spellpower
Force and Light critty chance
Force and Light critty damage
Increases Blast speed by 10%
% chance to trip foe with Eldrich Blast chance equal to 1/4 your Evocation DC.
Exceptional Evocation DC

Quarterstaff of the Wild Mage
Your Wild Magic effects and durations are doubled
+5 to your Prismatic Mind damages
+5 stacking Caster Level and Max Caster Level to Chaotic spells.
Obligatory Chaos and Light spellpower
Obligatory Chaos and Light spell critty chance
Obligatory Chaos and Light spell critty damage
Insightful Chaos and Light spell crit chance
Coalesced Chaos- Whenever you cast a Chaos or Light spell, you gain +60 Temporary Spell Points that last for 30 seconds. This can only trigger once every 45 seconds.
This sounds cool though I’d rather have it not be a quaterstaff. One handed preferably or maybe an item so you can keep weapons free

Don't care how it's evoked (click, random percentage chance. etc.), but something that does this. No, I'm not kidding. SSG wants monsters in my face, sometimes I want them out of my face. Oh, and if the blast just so happens to knock a mob off a cliff/ledge/precipice/whatever, see ya, Wile E. None of this dead levitating monster nonsense.

Hello everyone, happy release day for Myth Drannor! I've got a topic for discussion during today's downtime:

We're working on the Raid Loot for a raid that's coming out a little down the line, and would like some insight into what effects players would like to see on that loot. Here's what we're looking at:
Hi SteelStar,

Would it be possible to add new Color Augments that can only go into specific slots,
Guardbreaking augment : Shield only and goes to Purple slot or Blue slot
True Seeing augment : Goggles only and goes to Green slot or Blue slot
Overbalance augment : Weapon only and goes to Orange slot or Red slot

Perhaps Artifacts with +4 Quality Stat for different slots other than ring?

And also Level 32 Insightful (+6) Stat augment or Level 34 Insightful (+7) Stat augment

I'd like to see the loot to be useful for everyone, such as being able to deconstruct it into missing stat augments (purple/orange spell lore, insightful stats, purple/orange exceptional spell powers), & so on.

Assuming you don't want those to drop in the raid.

For the shuriken:

I think this should have a limited form of warlock's chain shape blast, with a % chance to reflect off and hit another target in range.

I think this should be appropriately scaled, such as off 1/3 wisdom so as to make an appropriate building cost vs tapping out doubleshot.

We're working on the Raid Loot for a raid that's coming out a little down the line, and would like some insight into what effects players would like to see on that loot. Here's what we're looking at:

Unchangeable Parts:
  • There will be around 20 named items in this Raid's loot table.
  • The items will be Minimum Level 33.
  • There can potentially be an upgrade system (to the named items in the raid, Myth Drannor quest loot, or both)
  • There can not be an extensive build-your-own crafting system (like Dino Bone crafting)
  • Sun and Moon Augment Slots can only exist on the slots they exist on in Myth Drannor quest loot
  • There is new, unique art for the following item types:
    • Rapier
    • Shortsword
    • Shuriken
    • Kukri
    • Longbow
    • Scimitar
    • Falchion
    • Orb
    • Quarterstaff
    • Throwing Dagger
    • Kama
    • Large Shield
      • This means we are aiming to make these item types for this Raid - Feedback on these item types is especially important
      • It also means we are unlikely to make items for this Raid that need art but aren't on this list (Helms, armor, cloaks, other weapons, etc), though it is possible - It just wouldn't have unique art. As we said above, upgrading some of the Myth Drannor quest loot could be an option here.

Useful Feedback:
For the purpose of this thread, actionable constructive feedback factors in the following:
  • Contains what you do want to see, not (just) what you don't want to see
  • Is specific about effects when possible, or frames out the purpose of the item you want to see
  • Stays within the rules of the Unchangeable Parts above

I think folks have said it before, but I'd like options for LGS buffs on weapons. Without that, I have no reason to move on from IOD unfortunately.

as for gear, I personally think that we need more exotic attributes, like you see in some items from Sharn raids. Like, Cannith Combat Infusion and Relentless Fury. Might as well add in Enhanced Bloodrage as well. Stuff that procs is nice.

Throw us a bone and make a better version of the Cornerstone Champion belt for our monk friends. Pretty please :) (needs qual +4 wisdom and Superior Reinforced Fists at a minimum).

The ability to upgrade the weapons and shields in this update (and please include a tower shield) to a supreme augment slot. In that you can add Horn weapon effects. Either use existing dino system for collected mats or add another one that drops in the raid only, called Mythal fragments or something. I prefer flexibility over a specific weapon having a specific effect. Altho each weapon/shield can naturally have their own special abilities, it is always nice to have something you can add that is your specific flavor.

The same Mythal fragments could also be used to assemble Lunar and Solar augments via a new altar.

Nothing specific, but anything that simplifies the gear Tetris is good imo.

Depends on how does the math of the enchantment level work out. For example, if we are hitting +16 ability effect or +7 insightful, go with those.

Belts with body attributes eg quality dex/str/con or insight 7
Gloves with mind attribute eg quality cha/wis/int or insight 7

Boots with anything (theres no MD loot I care for in the boot slot)

Bracers with more general appeal current bracers are too niche

Venerable stats +int/cha/wis -str/con/dex

insight deception needs to appear somewhere

A huge thing missing is a non-weapon item that has a true seeing clickie on it. Some gear sets don't include it and switching to scrolls is very annoying.

I really liked the new absorption boots in the main quests, and think an "alignment" version of those would be nice to see somewhere.

Casters could use some spell crit damage items so they don't have to go back to greensteel or dinobone artifacts.

One thing I do want on cloaks is the Eladrin Iconic cloak that is usable for others. I don't care the stats. :)
