+15 Stat/+7 insighful boosts
A spell absorb item that is sun/moon friendly. Maybe a cloak to replace the jeweled cloak.
Another curseproof item.

LGS options on weapons is a must. Preferably customizable via upgrade.
Given the theme of chaos magic, some sort of chaos magic effect on the weapons, which can be mitigated much like the chaosmancer can do, via the effect of upgrading. IMPORTANT: the upgrade itself reduces the negative chaos, you still get upgrade benefits along the LGS line.

Besides the orbs, any chance at Sceptres for the casters? I see that they are missing on the list. Even add if you don't make them sparkly and jeweled like new?

The weapons should be sligjtly better than existing once in the game. E.g. as a Ranger I use Scimitars, currently still The Fractured Elegance and an Attuned Dino Bone. I liked the Nearly Finished crafting on the Sharn Raid items, maybe something similar to add a fallen age and golden age effect from a selection of predefined effects by crafting? Also some new enhancement effects fitting to the expansion lore would be cool.

Con to hit on a weapon(to damage would be nice too but can get that in the tree)...especially on dwarven war axe or hammer...seems strange you can easily get ever intilectual stat to hit and damage in the game as well as str and dex, but still no con to hit and damage?

some effects that would make me consider over dino:
- LGS debuffs (not maelstrom, that actually puts me off the item) * this one is basically mandatory
- meltfang/alchemical earth attunement (its on some of the artifacts so its less necessary)
- felling the oak
- blunt trauma
- guardbreaking
- alignment/metalline bypass
- dripping with magma
- sov vorpal
- unique crit profiles
- if you want to distance us from dino armor, profane DS and profane sneak dice
- buffs to existing but less used feats (elusive target, etc)

Also, Cursed Maelstrom does NOT work as intended.

Some of the buffs just don't appear and the procs are so ridiculously low it might as well not exist on the weapon. Many, many complaints on this debuffer.

I know it sounds "Chaos" like and the theme for Myth is chaotic magic. But DO NOT use this as the debuff for weapons.

Just use straight up LGS dust which always applies as you hit and can actually get stacks going with.

This is Legendary Raid loot, correct?
A quarterstaff that allows you to wield an Orb in the Off-Hand. Graphically, the Orb would sit on top of the Staff. So it would have a cosmetic look of the staff.

Ideas which I think would be fun, convenient or help loot tetris moreso than be power intensive:

- Insightful and Quality Augments – Stats specifically, but also whatever other Insightful/Qual effects you’d be willing to do to help loot tetris. Some specific suggestions I’d like are an Insightful Accuracy Augment to help those without a class trance who rely on a universal tree trance and thus lose out on insightful accuracy. Or a Quality Con augment to help those who can’t fit it in their gearset. But again, any kind of insight/qual effect or stat would be wonderful as an augment option to help the tetris frustration.

- True Seeing Augment and a Freedom of Movement Augment. These in all practicality are mandatory effects to have on your character yet don’t appear in augment form, please just let us augment them out already to help gear tetris.

- Another summon clicky like Skeletons Raid Loot had would be really fun – but different summons, so a selection of the new Myth Drannor monsters. I personally love the dino clicky from Skeletons, it's just so fun.

- Flying Carpet Mounts that are different colors. Make lots of them, just take the existing red one and do palette swaps. It shouldn’t take a lot of budgeted art time to just do a color swap right? Let's see Purple, Green, Orange, Black, Yellow, etc. etc. etc. I get this is a special ultimate expansion bundle item so if that’s not do-able, then just do new Myth Drannor appropriate cosmetic variants of horses we haven’t seen before. Maybe a new panther mount cosmetic variant?

- Jeweler’s Toolkits and Sentient Toolkits in the end chest(s), and let us purchase a bundle of them for runes. Would give the raid lots of replayability and reasons to run it.

- Cursed Card Crafting Cleanser

- Ddoor clicky - I get the team is likely apprehensive about this but Mikayl the Pious is already in game so I really think it's past time to just let us have a clicky. It basically exists already with the hireling, this would just remove the hireling management.

- Leap clicky, something like the Cannith Boots of Propulsion but with a much shorter cooldown. The Cannith Boots have a 10 minute cooldown which is super long and frustrating - lots of builds don't have easy access to a leap ability.

- Special cosmetic cloaks, helms, armors, weapon auras that are MD appropriate

- Special hair dye, maybe a duo colored one which would be thematic with what you all did with the new Eladrin races which have duo hair color options.

That’s all the time I have for now, I may make another post later if I have more ideas. I haven’t put as much thought yet into more power focused things I’d want to see.

A clear upgrade to heart of Suulomades, with the same curse immunity + vanguard flavours on proc, and tank flavours on being hit.

Bonus points if it is the shield, so it becomes an opportunity cost vs the hp% shields, but not at great detriment.

Super bonus points if it is an artifact.

It should also have hidden effect buffs that boost based on the lore the character has, divine/arcane/primal, or based on class (legendary bone paws if druid, cha to hit damage if paladin, +primal hp% if barb, etc)
Hmm well if this is a thing and even though it's not lore friendly I'd like a new item that has the effects of Chimera's Crown and/or the ability to make the Legendary Chimera's crown as an augment. Sure there aren't dragonmarks in the Forgotten Realms but that's ok maybe someone brought it there from Eberron.

I think a specific weapon that in addition to it's normal physical damage, will have a small chance to proc an effect similar to what we get with Wild Magic. To offset the 90% of the time we don't get the wild magic effect, maybe add +1 to crit damage or crit chance.

I love the idea of having Eclipse, Sun, Moon and Awe effects on the raid weapons. It feels very thematic and the effects you mentioned actually compete with Dino weapons very well!

We're working on the Raid Loot for a raid that's coming out a little down the line, and would like some insight into what effects players would like to see on that loot. Here's what we're looking at:

Unchangeable Parts:
  • There will be around 20 named items in this Raid's loot table.
  • The items will be Minimum Level 33.
  • There can potentially be an upgrade system (to the named items in the raid, Myth Drannor quest loot, or both)
  • There can not be an extensive build-your-own crafting system (like Dino Bone crafting)
  • Sun and Moon Augment Slots can only exist on the slots they exist on in Myth Drannor quest loot
  • There is new, unique art for the following item types:
    • Rapier
    • Shortsword
    • Shuriken
    • Kukri
    • Longbow
    • Scimitar
    • Falchion
    • Orb
    • Quarterstaff
    • Throwing Dagger
    • Kama
    • Large Shield
      • This means we are aiming to make these item types for this Raid - Feedback on these item types is especially important
      • It also means we are unlikely to make items for this Raid that need art but aren't on this list (Helms, armor, cloaks, other weapons, etc), though it is possible - It just wouldn't have unique art. As we said above, upgrading some of the Myth Drannor quest loot could be an option here.

Useful Feedback:
For the purpose of this thread, actionable constructive feedback factors in the following:
  • Contains what you do want to see, not (just) what you don't want to see
  • Is specific about effects when possible, or frames out the purpose of the item you want to see

A Curse immunity item similar to the Heart of Suulomades, preferably on a ring or trinket.

A tower shield should be in raid reward list.

We need an orb that plays on the giant Mythal that surrounded Myth Drannor

Orb of Mythrien Sarath (elven god of magic, with an emphasis on protective spells and mythals)
-Insightful universal spell lore
-Insightful bonus to magic resistance rating (increases MRR cap by 20 when blocking)
-Insightful bonus to fire/acid/electric/cold/sonic absorption (increases absorptions by 20% when blocking)
-Insightful bonus to universal spellpower
-(has 3 charges of mass protection from elements clicky, caster level 34)

No more crafting/upgrading systems please. We have more of those than gacha afk games
