Hello, folks!

I'd like invite you to visit a new channel I created to promote not just my build (Storm Summoner) but the "hirelings+summons" playstyle in general.

The channel has two main goals: to showcase the playstyle's viability on high reaper difficulties, but also to hopefully generate enough buzz and interest from players to maybe entice SSG to eventually put their work towards hirelings and summons support and improvements back on the table (long shot, I know, but one can wish :)).

It already has one of the largest collections of flawless solo r10 completions for DDO on Youtube (over 70 quests, with 2 new coming every day), and the goal is to eventually have a video for every single Legendary quest in the game (a few may be virtually impossible due to specific mechanics hostile to soloing and/or hires/summons, but that's the goal).

Here's the link to the channel: Storm Summoner Build

And here's a sample video:

Hope you enjoy it! :)

Interesting. Did you consider an LGS salt off-hand for no-save CC via sleet/etc? It does pose a bit of a conundrum on choosing ooze or ash for MH, but it's very nice CC.

Hey, Bjond!

Yes, I did consider it. But I went with ooze and ash because my main weakness is red named DPS and I already got several CC layers that are almost no fail for most circumstances, and the occasional mob that saves usually aggroes on the hires or summons - If I play properly, with the added 118% threat reduction it's very rare that something actually targets me, so I can take on pretty much anything the quests throw on me on the way to the end fights, those are the ones that currently present the most challenge, so in the end ooze +ash helps me more with the further debuffing that works on everything and the addition of more tanky bodies (the oozes) to hold aggro on bosses while I nuke them down. I also considered sparkhorn/vulnerability but I also already have other sources of vulnerability so it would give me diminishing returns.

Thanks for the suggestion. :)

Cheers!
NH
