Per wiki:
Lightning Strike (enhancement): Your Sonic and Cold spells have a 20% chance to cause a massive Lightning Strike whenever they hit an enemy.

They get snowball storm... Does this mean each tick of a snowball has a chance to proc a lightning bolt?

There's probably an internal cooldown or limit to once per spell. I've seen it go off often though so...not sure

As far as I can tell, the lightning proc goes off only once per cast unless it is a persistent cold/sonic AoE (in which case entering and reentering has a chance of procing). I've never seen it go off more than once on a Shout or G. Shout (testing it on lammaland), and I just tested it with Sleet Storm in Disciples of Shar. I Enthralled some wolves into the sleet storm so they wouldn't keep entering and exiting, and I never saw it proc for the duration of the spell if it didn't proc when it was cast (the spell lasts 70 seconds at lvl 15). I tested Niac's Biting Cold and Reverberate against Gardak Bruntsmash in Cabal and never saw an additional proc on subsequent ticks.

Just wondering if any of you know the following about the Lightning proc:
- if it benefits from metamagics (i.e. the metamagics active on the spell that was cast to proc it)?
- if it has a save at all?
- if the proc that is given to others via song uses your electric spell power, or the recipient's?

This info would have been very useful in the game description.
