Stuck in "installing pre-requisites", now forced to use VPN

Hi guys.
Two days ago I started having an issue that I think everyone else was having. Couldn't log in and had a message similar to "installing pre-requisites" in the launcher, then nothing happened.
After trying everything (even reinstalling the game a couple times), I tried using a VPN and could log in.
Now, if I disable the VPN, I can't pass through the launcher screen, with the same message as yesterday, so looks like I'm forced to use a VPN to play the game.
The thing is, I think I'm missing launchers I had before (official ddo launchers) and other files (I can't even change my display settings in the launcher, can't find the 64bit launcher, etc)

I wonder what tf is happening
anyone else with the same issues?

is it possible for you to hit the repair function in the launcher? The launcher will re-download missing files.

Alternative to VPN: walk over to your router and unplug it for at least five minutes. It may take several minutes longer, depending on how long your ISP normally takes to renew IP addresses in general. Once you plug it back in, check on an IP-checking site to make sure your IP address has changed. If you don't know your IP address you should use the site before you unplug your router, too, of course.

Using repair re-downloads the whole game, and I've already done it twice, with no success sadly.
Same with restarting my router.

I've got at least a SIMILAR problem -- specifies an access error trying to apply patches...
What I do not have is a VPN, or the ability to access the router I am accessing Internet through.
(I'm running Windows 11, had been "normally" accessing DDO until Monday evening, roughly 10:30P Central.)

Attempting the re-install now... and it has already failed, with the identical error. Will now attempt to do DE-install, reboot, and re-install.

UPDATE: my issue was in fact resolved by the "full" uninstall / re-install process -- at a personal investment of somewhere around eighteen hours total involvement. (It required approximately TEN HOURS just to re-download the base package, given my current ISP arrangement... Fourteen-plus GB doesn't happen immediately, after all.)

Hey guys, couldn't reply sooner, had a really busy month.
Finally I was able to play after some reinstalls, restarts, etc. I guess it was my ISP's fault if it was resolved using a VPN.

Now I can play without VPN.

Sorry for re-open that old treat but now i have that same issue. can't launch the game it stucks in the pre-reqs screens. I have tried some reinstalls clean-unistall repair...nothing happens
i don't have any vpn to check that option and wish to not install if possible.
Any idea about?
