Suggestion - Bring back HP/SP being set to full when entering reaper quests

We used to get our HP & SP restored when we entered reaper quests, then an update a couple years ago removed that. With the addition of reaper wildernesses, it'd be good to bring that back. It really sucks to be on a caster and be out of spell points at the very start of a quest, there's no fun to be had with that. Without bringing it back, it makes wilderness difficulty choices extra punative to certain classes & builds. Maybe even take it step futher than before and have entering any quest difficulty restore HP & SP, I'm sure there's more casual players that don't do reapers that would equally appreciate it.

From a code/mechanical viewpoint, here's how I'd implement it: When entering a quest, give 100% heal/SP + action boosts(some builds without action boosts are very meh)/charges on clickies/etc. like someone has just rested. Have it only apply once per quest and not be available again on that character until quest completion (this would prevent recalling out/re-entering on easier difficulties for more restores). This could use the same tech from the recent "hardcore like" seasons that only allowed the event mobs to spawn once per quest and required quest completion to occur before those mobs could spawn again.

Nope. It was exploitable by relogging

You spend half your spell points on the way to a quest in the wilderness?
If you don't rush through the area creating Dungeon alert you will spend a chunk of spell points, especially in heroics and epics where killing mobs in the way of quests give xp.

But even on legs that can happen, when people kill a purple in the way of the next quest.

Sincerily i can't understand why some people can think it's wrong that all archetypes start the quest with all the resources. Especially when casters can't do anything useful without spell points.

It could be a general rule that entering a quest gives you a full rest. I'm just afraid SSG doesn't want to make that concession, even if this isn't a balance issue.

I am not against it at all.

It should be on all difficulties, not only reaper. But I am worried by their ability to code almost anything nowadays

For the new wilderness, it should be easy enough to just place a shrine at every quest entrance. Or bring back the Curse of Strahd style teleports to quest, and this becomes a non issue. You just go to the quest when you want to get to the quest with full hp/sp, and you go to the wilderness when you want to go to the wilderness.

Why shouldn't you get the benefits of a rest when all of your buffs are stripped on quest entry? It seems like the players are the ones making all of the concessions.

Just in case it's not clear: I'm not against that suggestion. I can even imagine going a step further and giving players a full rest upon entering a quest at any difficulty – but I can understand if the developers don't want to give us that.

Just imagine, not all love use mounts at all in wilderness, some like killz! Nonsense, right?

I thought the reason they did that was so you didn't get a giant lag bomb when entering a quest while it calculated all your reaper stuff. But if they could make it work as a full refresh like when you finish a quest, sure why not.
