Now that the ship has sailed on the imbues being a common thing, it could interesting to add an AoE imbue blast shape toggle. The idea being it would change an imbue to do damage in a blast radius with damage/damage type/etc. all defined by whatever imbue you have turned on. Have it do reduced damage by X% to make it a choice between AoE vs single target. Limit it to 1 proc on AoE attacks with an internal cooldown of pointX seconds to prevent cleaves/strikethru/IPS/etc. from creating dozens of AoE procs off a single attack. Maybe make it a feat so there's a feat tax to have this kind of AoE (and make it available at low levels so builds that are painful to level might potentially feel nicer) or some other source for it.
