Instead of

Item:Heart Seed

make it

Item: Heart Seed

so players seaching for heart seed don't get endless search scroll of death because it's 'tagged' as item:heart seed ?

I can help; do not flame.

*on Heart Seeds, I never knew you could double-click them

I'm afraid we actually can't do this! Because "Item:" is a page namespace rather than part of the page's actual name, when you type "Item: Heart Seed" into the wiki, it works out you're looking for an item page named " Heart Seed" and automatically deletes the leading space.

(A page namespace, incidentally, is essentially an extra bit of information that determines how MediaWiki displays a page. Most pages are in the default namespace "Main:", which isn't displayed.)

No, which is why we create special redirect pages that will pick up searches for (as an example) "Heart Seed" in the Main namespace and send them to the right page in the Item namespace. So just searching for Heart Seed will get you to the right page in the end.
