So I played this build from level 18-30. In the video I have done a compilation of when I played Borderlands on r1, then Deleras on r1. There is into the mist on r8 on cap. The in between levels I levelled from doing slayers so not much video from this.

Let me just say that this build is fun to level from 18-20 and then again from 23 to 29.

This is a flavor build and by no means do I claim that it is really good at endgame. In fact I tried a lot of summoning builds and they all have that in common that they are not really good at cap. I mean you can solo something but if you have summonings and a full group the summonings tend to get aggro of mobs you might intend to avoid a fight with.

One exception to this rule is Hound of xoriat on mid reaper. This build is probably the best one for charming those dogs.

As with any of my summoning builds I really enjoy playing it.

I have made a almost pure druid summoner in cold form and casting spells before. The current split with 5 warlock does not let me do that. But I do believe that the buffs to the summonings helped.

From level 20-23 was kind of a hassle. The summonings did not get extra hitpoints from primal avatar and they did not get the imbue summons which makes them do more damage. This is also from primal avatar.

On level 23 the build got fun and the summonings could again hold their own.

One thing that is annoying is that you have to summon all the hirelings at the start of every quest if you are not doing a slayer area.

More info and videos to come so keep an eye out for this thread.

Feats:
Quicken spell, Two weapon defense, perfect twf, improved crit piercing, 3*Monk stances, 3*Twf, Precision, wellspring of power, embodiment of law, arcane warrior, scion of elysium, Improved augment summoning.

So i just raided with this toon with the guild. Mostly r1 raids. It lacks a whole lot of dps for it to be worthwhile in raids.

I found an old summoner video i did on a caster druid 17 monk 2 wizard 1 i think it was. cold druid caster mostly. even though this was before the nerf to casters it was faster.

Two videos. I somehow effed up the sound so no sound. R10 Into the mist on old caster summoner:

If you plan on soloing mid to high reaper normal quests with a summoner i believe that a cold caster druid is a better way to go than the melee warlock in the op.

edit: apologies if this seems like a derail, that is not my intention. I was just excited seeing something close to what I use (but I only use it for LHoX).

This is very close to the dedicated charmer I made for low reaper LHoX runs. I did 11 druid 7 warlock 2 bard instead, so that I could spam haste and sharp note. My EDs are more about the buffs as well (lots into Magus, including Time Stop as it works on Xy'zzy, plus enough Fury for Primal Scream (only the +2 version), and the rest into Primal for the additional buffs). With the small additional buffs from a friendly monk spamming Walk of the Sun finisher nearby, a real bard with Inspire Excellence, and one other person with Time Stop, I've consistently 1 rounded LHoX on R1.

I also don't have any racial past lives, epic past lives, or any other than the 3 druid past lives on this character, and the only reaper points I got from doing LHoX runs, so barely anything there either.

(given that a good group can do something like r1 CoS in 20 minutes for 26 threads, a 3-4 minute r1 LHoX for 7 threads with a super specialized build I think is actually okay... but without a specialized charmer it suuuucks!)

I'm really looking forward to throwing in the new L.Chrono set bonus for another +12 to all charmed/summoned/pet stats to see how that speeds things up (edit: now that I have it, I've been able to consistently 1 round Mommy with 10-15 seconds to spare on the first charm wearing off without any other buff buddies, so yay!)

Dragonborn is purely for flavor/thematic reasons. I also haven't updated his gear for years, so he himself could be stronger.
