While you're Single Weapon Fighting while having nothing in your off-hand, there is an extra attack roll on the third hit of the chain.

This doesn't seem to happen if you're wearing something in your off-hand, nor do you need Single Weapon Fighting feat.

This does result on basically higher DPS than normal, especially if you're twitching after the third attack.

It doesn't look intentional to me at least, given how quick in succession the extra roll is. But someone can correct me if I'm wrong

Funny that it has gone undiscovered so long. It would explain why SWF is so strong and popular. It puts SWF on par with TWF without the janky animations.

Don't mistake silence for ignorance. The devs rarely comment on DPS-boosting bugs, probably because they don't want more people exploiting them than they already do. If it hasn't been fixed yet, that implies it isn't an easy fix, like maybe it's an animation bug which is a lot more effort than a simple code change to implement.

While having nothing in your off-hand, does not mean your off-hand is broken or handicap. While your main-hand is hitting mobs, your off-hand can also punch mobs as well (since it is not broken). This proves it is a feature and is WAI.

Is this being fixed already? I tried while wearing nothing in off-hand with/without swf feat but didn't see any extra attack roll on the third hit.

I don´t even wanna know what my off hand is doing in the rhythmic exchanges of combat in DDO. While fighting monkeys, is it spanking it?
