I was ex

I was excited for chill gear, but I didn't want to take the next 3 years grinding out a gear set, when this brain tumor will kill me in under a year. The joys of serving my country.
Burn pits in Iraq or Afghanistan by any chance?

I had a friend who was a Navy Seabee who was involved in dealing with all that stuff in Iraq.

That's the one. I got other problems from the same source, but this is the most current. And all I had to do was breathe while I was there. Thank you US Government and their puppet master banks.

As a fellow vet, I feel for you man. Burn pits were a bit before my time, but some of my teammates got lung cancer from all of the suppressed shooting we did indoors. Turns out breathing in aerosolized lead and solvents 100K times a year wasnt any better for you than breathing in JP8, piss, ****, and whatever other crap they threw in the barrels.

Hoping and wishing for the best for you.
Sorry that is happening to you I have a tumor in my frontal lobe lucky for me it's not malignant or growing but it has affected my balance and cost me some skills. I get an MRI every 2 years to see if it's grown

I think any tumor is undesireable. People kept asking how big mine was, and I kept telling them any size is too big.

How do you know that the tumor will kill you faster than grinding out the Chill gear?

Some tumors have 5-year survival rates over 90%. Is it malignant (cancerous)? If they are detected early they can be cured.

because after tumor removed I have 12 to 18 months max. The math on grinding out chill gear, if I get the pieces needed, then I have to grind out the materials and augments needed to complete the gear. And since I spend the last year trying to grind out just the pieces and only got half of them, I'm sure I'll end before I complete the set. Their rare loot system sucks haven't washed in a year hairy ball sack. Too bad they can't balance getting gear AND ******* PAYING CUSTOMERS!!!

depends on type of tumor. I have super hostile type, and although it's was completely removed, it's positive it will return. Treatment will only make me suffer more and still die. People don't go through radiation and chemo and live, they go through treatment to suffer and die and leave their families 10's of thousands of dollars in debt to the hospitals.

My sister who is a paleative care doctor is surprised how many people that don't go through the treatment outlive their diagnosis timeframes.

that is the train of thought I'm having, based on my own research and background knowledge. Treatment usually kills the patient rather than help them.
