i have to agree… while most of us appreciate ddo streamers on twitch, using the basic forums for huge advertising that takes up your whole screen is not cool guys.. just putting your short link without the massive use of space is enough. Most of us now have to turn off that view.

hmmm kinda meh because it is saying too much in the clock's design. I am really not a fan of it even if I am into dragons.
I would keep my season 1/2 clocks instead of the new ones even if I get them.

Season one reaper cloak is classic and clean, its like an armoni suit, it will never go out of style.
As for this hardcore, with already having all the previous hardcore rewards, anything short of something new and amazing, i will spend as little time as possible in this seasons. The only joy I still sort of have during hardcore is laughing at how much of hack players most of the streamers are!
On a positive twist offer a flying mount such as a pegasus and that would suck me into another committed hardcore season.

Two elements are clear - dragons and gold -
The dragons are perhaps the oldest and most powerful civilizations in Eberron -
remember Eberron itself was a primordial dragon, along with the other two Siberys and Khyber.
Another element perhaps to consider is that the dragons are aware of the curses over Xendrik for it was from the dragons that the Giants who made the curses learned their magic.
I will spitball what I think the story will be -
*My Guess* - Season 8 is about a secretive but powerful dragon organization known as 'The Chamber'
The Chamber, also known as the Calemaryx, is an extremely secretive organization from Argonessen comprised solely of dragons that manipulate events in Eberron to protect and serve the Draconic Prophecy. They were originally formed to counter the Dragonmarked Houses and the power that the houses had to interfere with the Draconic Prophecy. They were involved in the destruction of the House of Vol, as an example.
It is suspected that the Chamber sent members in secret to protect the Draconic Prophesy, assuming humanoid shape, they have secretly infiltrated many organizations of Eberron, including some of the Dragonmarked Houses Phiarlan and Tharashk, The Church of the Silver Flame, the Dark Lanterns of Breland, the Royal Eyes of Aundair, the Seren Tribes actively working against The Twelve, The Undying Court, and the Lords of Dust.
One of the most famous of the Chamber is a dragon known as Coralonyn a great gold dragon over 1,400 years who served alongside Galifar I at the founding of the Kingdom of Galifar.
We are speculating here but if the narrative follows what has occurred before, the Chamber, or one of its dragons in particular, could seek a deal with Mortality to help protect the Draconic Prophecy against a threat to Eberron which they deemed we, the players, can help them with.

Yummy lore there, I still feel the gimmick will be around treasure chests and the host will be a dragon. This though gives more names for the host for sure. I love that you know the lore though, not many know about the Chamber or Draconic Prophesy lore.

When you enter the dungeon, a wheel is spun somewhere in the Abyss.
You can hear it spin .... tink tink tink ... stop But you have no idea where it stopped.
Could be any prior gimmick, Nothing at all, a new gimmick, all the gimmicks at the same time (reaper settings only) ... who knows?
You don't know, until you find out.
ah yes, the wheel will re-spin every 5 - 20 minutes (randomly) to change the settings
again. You do hear the spin sound.

I still dont see anything worth it for me to play this season of hc, no footsteps, no butterfly, not interested in more cosmetic bloat.

My guess: dragons have become flush with plat and extremely tired of the Coin Lords ridiculous tax rates have decided to reduce their tax burden through charitable donations. They fly over Eberron dropping loot filled gold chests. Dodge the falling chests and profit.

last time I checked, a dragon of any kind 1 shots any PC under level 8 ... I really don't see them just popping out of chests.
At least not the regular kinds of dragons. I could see dragons being ' in charge' of the event.
