So is it 60 days or just from December 6 to January 10?

"The 9th Season brings a 60-day return..."

"The 9th Season of the Hardcore League: Return to Grace, begins December 6th starting at 2:00pm Eastern (-5 GMT) and ends when we bring the game worlds down for maintenance at 9:00 AM Eastern (-5 GMT) on Wednesday, January 10th, 2024!"

Level lockout is +2 or +4?

"This season features a +4 level lockout"

"There is a level lockout to prevent characters from running quests too far over level. (Base level +2, or effective level on elite.)"

The permanent FAQ section of the article has been updated to account for the unique nature of the season.

There is a level lockout to prevent characters from running quests too far over level. (Base level +2 normally for Hardcore, +4 this season, or effective level on elite.)

Thanks for the announcement and clarifications.

Does this season have a +20% reaper XP boost like the previous 'redux' in season 7?

This is still incorrect, due to the phrase "or effective level on elite". Base level +4 this season would mean 2 levels higher than effective level on elite.

Base level +2 = elite
Base level +4 = elite +2

see that the FAQ says this which is great!

What is different about the game while playing in the Hardcore League?

There is a level lockout to prevent characters from running quests too far over level. (Base level +2 normally for Hardcore, +4 this season.)"

^^ this makes sense [edit add: "sense"]

so prolly in above post earlier the phrase might have got a bit mixed up....maybe should read more like:

"There is a level lockout to prevent characters from running quests too far over level. (Base level +2 normally for Hardcore (or effective level on Elite.); but this hardocre season it is +4 lockout"

is that correct interpretation of it?

A +4 lockout means: If you are a level 5 character, you can run Borderlands quests, which are level 1.

Is this correct seems like the numbers are wrong for favor rewards unless there has been a change

Quote from official hardcore post
"The rewards are as follows:

  • Reaching Level 20: Death Walker's Sash IX
  • Reaching 1250 Favor: Archon Helm
  • Reaching 3000 Total Favor: Celestial Mount
  • Gaining 10 Reaper Enhancement Points: Death Walker's Cloak IX
  • Gaining 20 Reaper Enhancement Points - Lantern Archonling War Veteran Creature Companion Certificate "
