Yes, the airships are most definitely one of the red spots on Producer Tolero's lag graph that she showed us on the Friday's at Four some 2 weeks ago. It is worse on weekends, assuredly from the greater number of players in the game on weekend. Just last night, Sunday 02/22/26, my toons could not use the top deck eastern hatch/portal on the airship. I would click the portal and nothing would happen. Now, if I went to the west hatch/portal and clicked on it there was an immediate response and the destinations menu came right up: I suspect this might have to do with the fact that every toon appears very near the eastern hatch/portal and nearly every player spins about to use that closest portal.
Of course there is no proving it, but...I feel that once the fire of the 3 month's post 64-bit transfer was put out, all lag related resources among the staffing and work-hours were drastically reduced to a very few individuals asked to work on smaller/isolated cases of lag/performance when other projects that take priority are finished and they have some spare time. IF SSG could solve the game wide near un-playable lag in 3 months (and that was too long as it was) then why have they not been able to solve small and isolated cases of lag (such as the airships) in the following 3 1/2 months? Answer: SSG does not care to put much of any resources into solving these.
