The Black Loch Quest

I'm trying to run this quest for House D reputation. If you look at this map (might need to zoom in) it says the quest is on the southern most section of the land on the left. But it's using a encounter instead of a quest location. My toon is standing in that right same spot and there's nothing but a couple passive pirates.

What am I missing? Going crazy trying to find this quest.

The quest The Black Loch is in House D, not out in Three Barrel Cove.

I haven't played it but twice, but I think the entrance is under water if I recall correctly

Or it's the quest that you go the north east gate in House D'enith and it teleports you to where you need to be. Did you try looking up the quest on DDO WIKI. That's how I found it

There is also an "Explorer" location that is called "the Black Loch" that is what you're seeing.

Two Thoughts:

1. AI still has a long way to go: "located in the Searing Heights wilderness area, specifically on the southern edge near the Crumbled Archway" then it send me to Three Barrel Cove.

2. No idea so many quests are so difficult to find.

I can't argue with that last statement. there's are definitely quests that should be easier to locate the entrance for. The entrance in searing heights is definitely part of that saga, but I don't think that's the quest you are looking for

To this day, there are still some places I've never gotten to.

Belatedly adding to the topic, the Explorer point voiceover in 3BC also explains it used to be the entrance to the Black Loch.

think it would be easier of the entrance doors to the quest and the name of the quest were the same?
