The coolest thing to do with earned-power is to pay it forward.

Not a call for the devs to do anything, just a cool observation about a fun way to play this game.

Not only is it legitimately fun to run through content and blast through it, giving some new player the best xp/min of their life (and stop apologizing for missed content, but rather excite them about the wild ride by being so nonchalant about it. heheh. Or the odd, "touch the docent!" or "try /death to leave the party," LOL. Real-life friends only <3 (... fingers crossed))

But there is something special about having something real-life going on, or not fully knowing the way, and just being able to rely on others. People actually help people, we've all been helped before, and just. Yeah. This is a game I play in some of my darkest times, and it actually does kinda get me through. Because either I can rely on others, or others can rely on me, and both feelings are really important to cultivate in-game and in the real world.

Pay it forward, yes.

I still remember giving away a +1 tome to someone back when those tomes where a big deal.
That player was flabbergasted as he responded that it was the first time ever anybody gave something to him.
Maybe I was reading to much into it but he sounded like he was talking like he was including his real life.

I gave away so much stuff. It's nice to give. At the very least I don't have to feel guilty when opening up an lfm when specifically looking for an item.

Btw, on HC it's nice to pull some slightly under levels through.
