well it's finally happened.
I've had to make another character simply to hold my excess plat and overflow items.
Kinda sucky that theres nothing in plat market that can act as a decent plat sink.

I was going to TR and just burn plat that way on leveling.. but no matter how i looked at it i just can't bring myself to TR when i'm breezing though things atm with just canith crafted lvl 32 gear.

Spent the last couple days powerless. Generator saved our bacon (literally) keeping the fridge and freezer going.

They estimated we had 80 mph straight-line winds here, and saw some pretty big trees downed nearby. Ours had already been trimmed up by that tornado a couple years ago, so we did okay in that regard.

Had taken mom to see family a couple hours away, putting me in line for a gnarly storm there...

...then got back in time for our storm that took our power down. Holiday weekends - gotta love em.

I think I've got the storage room on the ship. Pretty much you and I (and Pranas) are the only actives atm. The officer chests will be safe if you need em.

Okay, didn't have Guild Storage active but is placed now. 1st floor, first right. Also reactivated the Hold chests. Lot of random stuff in there, some room left.

There's also room for plat donations to the guild coffers if that plat's just burning a hole in yer pocketses. :D

Spent a few days burning an old stump. Started off as just bored middle-of-the-night fidgeting, but as it burned deeper it got hotter... was adding some old dead branches that happened to be applewood. Between the high heat and the apple wood, I was getting some awesome colored flames. I tried every camera setting I could to capture all the colors, but got very few mediocre results. Yellow, orange, red, green, blue, white...

One fairly nice shot.

Texas had tornados/high winds on May 16th so we were out electricity for 4 days but due to all the trees falling in my neighborhood we didn't get internet back till June first. We lost one tree, but it was already leaning like it wanted to crush the mailbox. It missed, winds knocked it partially into the street. Rotated it about 30 degrees. I think hubby partially enjoyed chopping it up.

we had a typhoon over the weekend. thankfully stocked up so didn't have to worry.

it's kinda funny, you get used to the storms and earthquakes and such here, meanwhile back home they get worried when they hear.

i have given up. i need to get glasses.
this is a sad day for me.

but i keep catching myself leaning forward while working due to eyesight, and that'll give me back problems.

been looking for a new job. current one is... undesirable.
cleared technical rounds and cultural fit. next interview in September. fingers crossed.
