Lord Soth was the Knight of the Black Rose (of the novel of the same name). He was originally from Dragonlance (where he is a major character), but was pulled into Ravenloft and became a dark lord (non-canonically according to Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman, the creators of Drangonlance).
It's still a limited time, just like the McRib. But, yeah, the wording is ambiguous."The Echoes of the Black Rose Patron Coffer is available for a limited time!"

I didn't know Soth was supposed to have been moved to Ravenloft.
Somehow I'm glad to hear it wasn't canon.

Basically it just means you can't buy all 3 tiers seperately and get more.
- It is only possible to get up to a total of 20 additional slots of Character Bank space to one character and 30 slots of Shared Account Bank space to your account through the Echoes of the Black Rose Coffer offering. It is not possible to purchase a lower tier offering after purchasing a higher tier Coffer, since it would provide no additional benefit.

Best thing about Krynn were the Draconians, Dragon Highlords, and, of course, Takhisis. The "bad guy team" was cool.... and Lord Soth!

If we get Krynn i'll re-subscribe. But this armor looks meh.Well, the coffer itself can't itself reference Lord Soth, but as the Knight of the Black Rose (Ravenloft story) and Lord Soth go together, and we're heading back to Ravenloft again this year... One can't help but put two and two together to think we might get a possible cameo in the upcoming stuff? Or even possibly access to Krynn as well down the line...

It is a never ending source of amazement to me how SSG never does good marketing on anything. What is the view we spend 99.99% of our time seeing? The back of the character. What should be the first thing you show us with your EIGHTY DOLLAR cosmetics? The back of the character - with and without cloak.
Seriously, any other game with these kind of ridiculously expensive megatransactions would give us a fully 3-D rotating model of a character in the store to preview it live. SSG can't even generate 2 extra screenshots for their promotional page.
But actually, it should be about 10 extra screenshots, because I'd bet that this armor looks quite a bit different on female model. The Underdark coffer armor sure does.
Please get basic competence at your jobs, SSG. This is the most rudimentary basic stuff for you to show us. I could go on Steam and buy like 5-6 top quality full games for the same amount of money as you want for some cosmetics and bank space.

I can do things others can't...
I have to say, running with the Black Rose Drake is absolutely amazing. Currently ransacking chests in the Feywild so of course it works here, but I'm riding the Drake and due to it's leaner look compared to the other "Drakes" and "Dragons", when I use Spring Attack to eliminate the Heroic Rares, it actually looks like the Drake is pouncing forward to attack the rares. (It's actually my character of course, but my character goes tempoarily invis as the attack happens and then dismounts, so it looks brilliant either way )
