The Firebrand (Evoker Cleric)

I've been playing this concept at cap and it's really strong and fun. I'm going back to melee on my cleric so I thought I'd share.

Concept is a DC evoker/numerous with sonic
The knockout punch is the greatest shout from Fatesinger and the healing effect it gives. It's CC, DPS ans heals. I could really end there. Not much else to explain.

20 cleric
Chao neutral
Aasimar but anything could work
Max wis, rest in con, little int for skills
Levelups into wis

Enhancements:
41 divine disciple,
25 warpriest,
15 falcony
(enhancements are focused on getting wis, dc and defense)

ED:
35 EA including stance, flame pillar, and holy fireball;
24 Latest Fatesinger (up to greatest shout),
14 draconic

Just take castery stuff that boosts DC and fire SP

Reaper: everything in dire thaumaturge unless you need to make con even!

Gear:
I use blessed bulwark set (hvy), leg elders knowledge, dino in belt, trinket, both rings, and boots. Cinderfingers for gloves, dust goggles, date night bouquet and mistfallen orb. Fils are the wisdom DC sets rounded out with raids and rares

Attack rotation is shout, holy fireball, celestial bombardment and divine wrath.

Everything is dead, friends are healed. Mops are knocked down and stunned. Flame pillar and destruction for singles. Implosion whenever it's off its longarse timer.

My DCs in reaper are in the 120s. Works damn gooder

Wrong class forum.

Any reason why are you spending points in Falconry? There's no indication that you are planning on hitting anything with a weapon. If you've run out of things to put points into, then either putting points into your racial tree or into the Harper tree for extra spell power from Versatile Adept sounds like a better option.

14 points in Falconry could for instance give 3 MRR, 9 PRR, 15 heal amp, AB : sprint 2nd tier, 5% quality HP, +1 WIS, i.e. defenses and WIS as posted (also +4 spot and listen, +3 MP and RP, less relevant to the build).

An interesting use for the bird is to de-spawn your own summons when needed – for puzzles, etc...

i don't follow? how does the bird toggle interact with those?

Bird is considered a summon and you can only have one of these at a time – when you use a summon spell or clicky, the bird disappears but the toggle stays active, so if you toggle it off then back on again, the summoned creature will return to its home plane immediately.

Also, when you change zones, the bird will have any active summons go poof, which is sometimes inconvenient.

oh wow, i assumed it was irrelevant like the familiar and it just happens my one (monk) falconer is the one character in the whole stable who doesn't summon. That's interesting TY.
It might start becoming a staple with one of my universal bonus points for the various summoners.
