The Full Meta Alchemist - Melee DPS

Is it too good to be true?

A Top-tier melee DPS with full BAB, 400 PRR, 140 MRR, 36% standing dodge, infinite boosts, 100% doublestrike, and massive sustained damage — that's what the Full Meta Alchemist is all about. No trade-offs, no compromises. It shreds like a cannon and survives like a raid tank, with dodge spiking to 95% on demand and a huge HP pool behind it. Solo capability? R10.

The engine:
infinite action boosts with zero cooldown between them, plus the highest damage melee imbue in the game (1d8 vs everyone's 1d6). You're always boosted, always hitting harder than you should be.

How to play:
idle in Orange state, open with a boost (Blue) into Poisoned Strike (Red) — a massive AoE that strips poison immunity on its own, so even "immune" mobs melt. That combo puts you in Purple state and you enter a spike, where PRR skyrockets and you shred without fear using Quickcutter, Legendary Rally, and Sunder-like attacks. Fight over? Smoke Bomb (Yellow) into GEW (Red), back to Orange, engine reloaded.

Permanent Action Boost Mechanism:
The bottled boosts - unlike normal boosts - are literally spells. the trick is to get the spell CD reduction from Shadowdancer Shadowcaster for 10%, and then the Arcane Alacrity epic past life for another 10%. Whenever you cast a bottled boost, it goes on a 40 sec CD - but the other bottled boosts go on a 30 sec CD - meaning you can use an action boost every 24 seconds since you get spell CD reduction. Alternating between Bottled Boost: Haste and Bottled Boost: Power is the best combo I've found. This build gets 10% extra attack speed when using the melee power boost from Legendary Dreadnought Carry On.

Dodge:
This build brings your max dex bonus and dodge cap to 36% dodge (or 38% with the Curse of Intangibility). When encountering a doom reaper, you use Eladrin leap + Quick cutter and it's gets you very close to 95% dodge for just enough time to kill that doom. During boss fights I like to use that same combo but with the Action Hero (Epic Moment) which brings me to 95% for 40 seconds straight.

Movement:
Since you're an alchemist, you also get the Bottled boost: Sprint which you can use along with the other boosts. You also get the Flight of Kings from Dragonlord T5 and Spring Attack which u can use consequently, making this build one of the fastest builds at cap.

More Perks:
With the Dragonlord CC, evasion and a rogue splash for traps (and imbue), you've got an active, fast, rewarding build that never gets boring

infinite action boosts with zero cooldown between them
How does this work? I.e., how are you bypassing the 30-second CD on 20-second action boosts? Do you have enough spell CD reduction to get Bottled Boosts down to 20 seconds?

Is Alchemist 13 essential for this build? Seems like it only gets you a 2nd level 5 spell slot. Or do you have to have GEW + Bottled Haste Boost for this to work?

VKF + DL + <past life class> is about as common as Arty + <past life class> Inquis isnt it?
What's interesting is OP hasn't gone for VKF capstone + T5 Dragonlord like a lot of builds, but put a lot of APs into Vile Chemist for poison immunity stripping and... other things I haven't parsed yet. Hence my questions above.

400 PRR without a dps trade off ? What are you ? How ? Im so confused
The engine described above puts you in a 12 second spike where u get 400 PRR without a dps tradeoff. without the spike and while in purple state, your PRR will be around 340 which is high as well.

I've added a section in the post that describes the mechanism behind having enough spell CD reduction without losing dps. Shadowdancer gives you 10% CD reduction with a 5 doublestrike tradeoff, but you end up having 100% DS anyways. the past life Arcane Alacrity gives you another 10% which is probably instead of Enchant Weapon past life.
13 alchemist gives you the extra imbue from GEW for free (no AP spend). going with 2 rogue or 7 DL doesn't give you much imo. you end up having evasion due to Shadowdancer The Darkest Luck.

You lose 30% dps by not taking wings when possible. Think of all those seconds bringing down your numbers spent using your legs like a sucker!
The build has all the leaps though u do need all the 4 universal points for that - added a section above. I'm currently playing this build with only 1 universal AP and it's preforming nicely in terms of speed.
VKF + DL + <past life class> is about as common as Arty + <past life class> Inquis isnt it?
This build is more about stripping poison immunity and dealing high imbue damage along with your slashing damage. you also end up having full BAB, tons of imbue, and DS due to the alchemist cores. Only invested 21 points in Vistani for this one.

I use Madstone rage + normal boost for bosses (while still in purple state). you also get full BAB which mean high attack speed so you still hit pretty fast even without vistani capstone

You'd have Improved Evasion with rogue 2. That said, you'd have to give up either DLord 6 or Alchemist 13; and it sounds like you really need both GEW and Haste Bottle Boost for the combat rotation to work how you describe.

I know they bumped up the damage of hamstring but is it any good now? Or just want a big +50% damage or something? Also, is 2weapon defense worth it for the 10mrr cap ?

Hamstring (and Slicing Blow, Legendary Rally, along with Vile Chemist: Poisoned Strike) uses the Sunder animation. Currently, the two-weapon fighting animation has a quirk where the Sunder animation grants an extra 3rd attack positioned in the center of the character (ultimately resulting in 2 main hand attacks and 1 off-hand attack). The player who made the build is likely combining all these active attacks together to gain an extra ~36 main hand attacks per minute. The bonus damage from the active attacks are likely just a lesser perk.

Seems like Duerger might be a race option. I kow many go Aasimar for melee builds, but I do no see much outside of the HAMP there. Duerger is an easy way to improve max dodge with reduce. And you have more flexibility to swap to enlarge for things like raids. Also with mindcleaver, you can imbue your weapons and make them implements.

Nice build and looks like a nice change of pace.
