Nice build Slam (I assume you got your shadow kings too 😁 ). If you're taking requests, can you run a times long past solo R10 to demonstrate longevity a bit?

Why use Clatter in the offhand? And why didn't you take Knight Training to go with it? EDIT: nm missed you took it in epics.

Awesome build @Slamandrak, thanks for posting it. I am looking for a TWF build and this one is very interesting, but I don't have much experience with Alchemist. How do you compare it to a 15 Paladin / 5 Dragon Lord?

Yeah, I agree this build looks somewhat familiar. Looks like a reskin of a Warlock variant, except the Alchemist pieces compliment things well with a good burst of PRR and better Action Boost capabilities.

Guardbreaking is insanely good, so your only options are really maw and clatter. Clatter has higher weapon dice and another crit multi on 19-20 (Blunt Trauma).

Thank you! I personally don't like the holy splash builds, though it is probably better damage. But, the amount of defense you get by choosing Vile Chemist tree is worth it in my opnion. the dps compromise feels negligible though not tested

Dps wise its not the best twf whatsoever , its prolly missing a ton of mp/dmg/str/tactics . Trickster is not even close to being good for clearing quests as a well built cold druid

Best is relative and context matters. In this context (TWF R10 solo quest clearing), this TWF build seems to be one of the best.

Feel free to prove me wrong by posting a video of a current TWF melee with a significantly faster clear time.

Regarding Tricksters, the context is slightly different but there have been various posts on these forums referencing DPS tests showing Tricksters are the top single-target DPS caster available. They may not have the best AoE capability, but I'm guessing they've got enough to still be highly competitive with other top DPS casters in R10 solo clear times, thus making them one of the best all around DPS casters.

I'd be pretty surprised to see a cold druid post-proc-nerf blazing through any R10 quest from the latest 2-3 xpacs. Good luck even finding anyone who is actually running a cold druid at cap anymore.

I barely see any DPS casters at all (trickster doesn't count).

Yeah, this is my assumption too, but I haven't personally run DPS casters at cap in a long time so I'm just going off what I've seen and read from others who seem pretty reliable.

Given that, I wasn't going to argue that Tricksters are hands down the best DPS caster as a fact, but it certainly looks like it is from everything I've seen.

That wasnt a good time for level 34 let alone level 36.

ps Im not hating the build it looks great and a lot of fun but lets not overglaze it and get it nerfed when it doesnt look to me like it needs it.

So post a better solo time with a different TWF melee.

It's been a long time since I've seen anyone post a good solo R10 on a TWF build and this one was done with a non-multipletionist toon. I saw a few tweaks that would make this one even better/faster, especially if it were a multipletionist toon but this is a great foundation for a build.

Sure let me get right on that 🙄

I didnt say it wasnt a good build I said a 6 minute completion is not a fast time even for twf. I bet Slam could shave 30s off without changing build. It would still be behind the fastest twf builds though.

Saying it and linking a video showing it are two different things.

I'm not even saying *you* have to post it. Just link a video of any TWF build soloing that same quest with a faster time. This'll be a learning opportunity for all of us.

I've seen videos with faster times, but they've been SWF, 2HF, etc., but I don't recall any on TWF builds in the past year or two.
