The coffers are fairly annoying, for sure. Lots of useless stuff put in with bank slots for insane prices.

Still, I used to buy them first chance I could, just for the bank space. Because I'm that stupid. But after MD... first time I haven't bought a coffer in the first 5 mins after logging in when it came out.

Didn't they do something a few months after the fist coffer came out like offer it again in the ddo store or offer the mounts/cosmetics to be purchased separately in the store?

I have bought all the previous coffers, but I will be passing on this one. The predatory loot mechanics in Myth Drannor and the horrible state of play currently is the reason.

There is of course no depiction of what the glamoured weapon aura looks like. Heaven forbid that people being asked to pay EIGHTY DOLLARS for cosmetics should get to know what those cosmetics look like ahead of time.

I have never in my life encountered a company that had worse marketing than SSG. Nobody else is even close.

Too many issues to bother with fluff, and SSGs tactic of putting bank slots in the expensive bundles killed any plan to buy them.

And some of us like the cosmetics. Recently (in the last 2-3 years) I have been paying more attention to the looks of my toons (as a side project). It all started with finding the Dragon Sword of Acid and making a cosmetic of it, mostly because I liked the looks of the base item (changed the "Acid Aura" to "Shadow Aura") so it looked better.

Thats actually a pretty banging sword :O

mmm sounds like the robe and head piece are a single cosmetic instead of seperate? If so that is a dissappointment. People might find interesting combos if the skull head was a seperate piece matching it with various other armors could be fun

I just buy these for the character bank, which I feel should be on all characters. Also please bring back the underdark coffer on sale for black friday.

Please also add a hireling to these packs. I would like access to something equivalent to the Alabaster Lioness / Onyx Panther, Scarecrow, and Owlbear.

Best thing is the sword is BTCoE but you don't have to equip it to make it a cosmetic, you just need the Mirror of Glamering.
