The Official Dungeons & Dragons Online Discord requires a Verified Discord Account in order to join, which requires linking a cell phone number to your Discord account. We know there are a few of you out there without cell phones or who wish to join the Discord but who are not willing to provide that information, so we have created a process which will allow you to get verified to see and post into the Official DDO Discord.
The first step is to join the Official Dungeons & Dragons Online Discord, it is not possible for us to see any of your information until you attempt to join and get as far through the onboarding process as you can until you are asked for a phone number.

Once you are asked to provide a phone number you can submit a ticket to Community Support through our help system here: https://help.standingstonegames.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
Please sign up for a Zendesk account if needed, fill out the information in your ticket, and provide the following information:

Discord display name:
Once I receive this information I can manually verify your Discord account to use the Official DDO Discord and I will confirm the action by responding to the help ticket. Thanks!

Again there are levels to this. Change the verification level to “high” instead of “highest” is all you need to do. The difference between “high” and “highest” is the phone number.

You may easily throw away the "DDO" part. Every gaming Discord channel is more or less active for about 2 first weeks at best.

I was referencing that other discords I've been on for years have been slow recently vs normally with new expasions and lams things get way more active. It could just be that's it is the fall and some folks are back in school/off vacation time/etc. or it could be an indicator of people doing things other than playing/talking DDO stuff; I don't know which.
