The post looks incredibly bot like, listing "cash value" of items and mostly non-DDO related "prizes". Honestly, it looked like Phishing or Fraudulent Prize scams.

@Cordovan I need some help. I made a post in the creator thread and received a ban by Carl-bot. It says Spam Account, but I rarely post.
I've made some comments in the Cleric thread and a bit in the Creator thread. Maybe 6 posts in total since the Discord was added.

Yeah, just to follow up on this officially, echoing Kobay's text, the post was flagged by the system as being a potential spam/scam and when looking at the post it read and looked different from typical posts made by content creators. In particular, putting cash value figures on the prizes, and the prizes not being DDO related, it seemed like it was being made by a bot trying to send people somewhere suspicious.

Turns out it was just an unusual giveaway, and we were able to restore things.

We know there are a few of you out there without cell phones or who wish to join the Discord but who are not willing to provide that information, so we have created a process which will allow you to get verified to see and post into the Official DDO Discord.

The first step is to join the Official Dungeons & Dragons Online Discord, it is not possible for us to see any of your information until you attempt to join and get as far through the onboarding process as you can until you are asked for a phone number.

It's true we are requiring phone verification for Discord accounts as an anti-spam, harassment, ban evasion, and anti-bot tool. While I can absolutely appreciate the position of those who don't want to provide a phone number, it is a requirement for this Discord.

Unfortunately, we need this verification in place to reduce spam, protect against malicious activity, and prevent raids and banned users from easily rejoining. Not just as protection against some more hot headed players, but against outside sources as well, as this is set up as a public discord.

What? It's possible to prevent raids without requiring a phone number. This is just laziness.
