Gearing up the Wife's Inquisitor at the mo. In your gear listing you give some options until you farm out a "proper gear set". What is considered to be a proper gearset? Ignoring MD and raids by the way.
Cheers
For "my wife", Proper gearset = a set of gear that gives set bonuses. (Doesn't have but one or two Myth Dranor items so far that may not be appropriate, but I have some augments for her). I wonder if she may have a couple Fey pieces or maybe a RL that could be a 5-piece set for now.

That
For endgame that would involved MD, IoD and possibly Morgrave items. I have tried to come up with something multiple times but I am struggling with all the stats that are available now hence why I left it at level 30 for the time being. I am trying to come up with something but it's far from easy to say the least.

in a nutshell is the same problem I am having with end game gearing, aside from can you pull all the ‘rares’

Sorry if there's an obvious answer I'm missing, but how does this build handle self-healing in heroic? I saw a comment about epic destinies giving sustain/healing, but nothing about heroics. Is one level of Artificer's cure enough healing to 20...?

I'm a newish player (been poking at the game for years but never TR'd yet) and wanted to use this for past lives but wasn't sure exactly what all it could do.

Ranger gets cure light too so you can alternate those to top off between fights... But for heroic, hirelings are usually enough. The main idea is to just kill things before they can hurt you enough. You can eventually be over prepared for heroic r1

Early on pots are enough between fights. Hirelings can be useful and eventually Heal Scrolls.

Is it just me or did the recent update give us all a kick in the nuts. I swear it feels like I'm doing a lot less damage now than I did last time I was able to play two weeks ago.

Yeah... it seems the devs have a proverbial ***** for nerfing Inquisitive at the moment :(

You don't notice any difference at all when levelling. The last patch took 15 RP away from us in the endgame. I can't say what effect that has, as I'm simply not interested enough in the numbers.

On another note, I've modified your build for a few Iconics. To get a second AOE, which makes levelling a bit smoother for me, I decided to take 3 Arti levels and the rest with Darkhunter because of the Trapper skills and the favourable SA dice.

I was wondering what happened to RP. Im not playing an Inq, however i have noticed a drop in RP on my archer. Prior to last update it was around 540, now it caps out a shade over 500

That is part of the design process in some ways... I made the build to be very flexible in terms of you can either run it as it is or you can tweak things fairly easily to suit your own style :)

Thanks for the write up, I enjoy doing Iconic TR's with this , I always slash the 3 arti for rune arm and imbue and 6 DH for sneak dic and everything melts
