Stoner81,this guide is so well laid out and understandable. Thank you for your work on this. I'm very new to the game, but I was wondering if you could recommend past live feats/passives to get prior that would buff this build even more?

I use repeaters on all my crossbow builds until at least level 8, sometimes level 12. If I am going inquisitive, I might swap to the ratcatcher at level 8.
If I am doing a great crossbow build I wait until level 12.

Welcome to the game and I glad you are enjoying this build :)

As for past lives... I would say the following:

3x Ranger (+6 Ranged Damage)
3x Monk (+3 Damage)
3x Fighter (+3 to-hit)
3x Artificer (+3 UMD)
3x Paladin (+30% Healing Amp)
3x Sacred Fist (+15% Healing Amp which stacks with Paladin for a total of +45).
3x Barbarian (+30 Hit Points).

Barbarian is kind of optional now since you can get so many hit points in game anyway but the others are very good to get.

As for epic past lives... I would say the following:

3x Enchant Weapon.
3x Colour's of the Queen.
3x Doubleshot.
3x Brace.

Here I would suggest getting Colour's of the Queen over Doubleshot since during heroic levelling you don't get much access to Doubleshot and Inquisitive only get something like 66% of their Doubleshot anyway thanks to dumb heavy handed nerfs. After those for epics I would focus on the ones which give PRR and MRR since those values in Heroics are huge and will make levelling a breeze.

Hope this helps.

I treat DDO like Pokemon... gotta get em all.. so I did... every single past life of every kind on 2 characters.. very close to 3 but burnout has reared its ugly head for a bit

This is great! I was debating on doing Artificer early, but wasn't sure how useful the +3 UMD would be. Either way Artificer looks like a lot of fun. I've been on the fence about Barbarian for awhile now, I'm probably going to push those lives way down the line then, it's not a class that interests me much. Wouldn't have thought about Colour's being a bigger priority than Doubleshot. Thanks for the detailed reply!

+3 UMD is huge! It will aid you in getting Heal Scrolls at level 9(?) and Raise Dead at level 7. Plus other good things like Greater Heroism, Heroes Feast, Fire Shield (useful in certain quests) etc etc.

As for Colours vs Doubleshot... it highly depends on your point of view...

For the purposes of the build as posted I believe Colours of the Queen is a far better choice for gaining early power boosts. As I mentioned Doubleshot isn't a prevalent stat in heroic levels and comes in to play far more once in to epic levels and beyond.

I'm going through this build with only a few past lives and really enjoying it so far but I had a question. I noticed that there are a few parts of the build that look like they are building spell power, assuming this is why those destiny points are spent and not just for mana, what is scaling with spell power is there if any? What interaction does the Epic Storm have? Does the sonic boost, implement, spell lore, affect the mantle or anything like that?

The spell power is generally Universal which affects everything so things like Cocoon work better. As for Epic Storm, the spell power etc on it I believe boosts the Lighting Strike from the weapon that happens now and then. In addition points have to be spent to unlock the other tiers higher up the tree so there that to it as well.
